4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Q: "What is the Bible?"
A: The Bible is a collection of 66 "books" and writings that were inspired by God and written through people over a span of 1,500 years in 3 different languages: Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic. It is in two sections; the Old Testament, meaning before Jesus came to earth, and the New Testament, meaning the story of Jesus and everything after. The Bible is a combination of history, poems, prophecies, and letters, and the whole thing is written for us and every believer in Jesus Christ, even 2,000 years after the last book was finished.
