Throughout the work, the author shows us the important role of the Holy Spirit in guiding the ministry of the apostles (Acts 2:1–13; 5:12–16; and 8:26–40). The Spirit makes possible the stunning success of the Gospel across the Roman world and the development of the Church in the cities of the empire (cf. Acts 2:41, 47; 4:4, 31; 6:7; 13:2; 15:8, 28; 16:6–10; 20:23).
