Ephesians 6:1–4 KJV 1900
1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. 2 Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) 3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. 4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
It is right
It is only right for children to obey their parents

Disobedience is wrong
There is a biblical plan for success in raising children
Clear instructions must be given for children to obey.
Children need instruction
Telling children to just stop all the time is not instruction.
The preeminent voice in your children’s life is you as a parent.
The church takes a role in instructing and helping to guide
