Just Tell The Truth!

We are in a world that hates the Truth!

We as christians struggle with Truth!

The world is searching for truth but they don’t realize it.

Google and YouTube have become the go to for truth!

The only problem is they are only responsible for supplying information.

Truth has been lost in the hypothesis ,theories , and debates of mankind.

We live in a society where truth is determined by what you think, what you feel, what you heard, what you read, what you saw, and what you believe.

Inmates have created their own form of truth and free educated thinkers readily except it!

We do not have the credentials to determine what is truth. Everyone born of a woman is a sinner and come into this world void of truth. Sin took away our ability to rightly divide the word of truth.

This ignorance of truth crosses all boundaries and Socio economic barriers!

From biblical scholars and road scholars and Ivy League students of higher learning. From the ghetto to the White House truth is hard to find.

From daycare's to elementary schools to middle schools to high schools and in prestigious colleges Truth is hard to find.

We have gone as far as to claim truth as our own personal belief system.

We say that's your truth but this is my truth.

Can we see the problem if we as a society reject an absolute truth we will be trapped in the consequences of our own defective sin ridden understand.

The truth can be before us right in our presence and we not grasp him.

John 18:37 Then Pilate said to him, “So you are a king?” Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. For this purpose I was born and for this purpose I have come into the world—to bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice.”

Jesus is clear everyone who is of the truth listen to his voice.

John 10:27 says my sheep hear my voice and they follow me and I give them to the eternal life and they shall never perish.

The people that don't listen are not his sheep.

John 18: 38 Pilate said to him, “What is truth?” After he had said this, he went back outside to the Jews and told them, “I find no guilt in him.

# 1.Dont Miss The Truth!

What is the truth?

Jesus said he came to be a witness of the truth.

All that the prophets of God had prophesied all of the scriptures that had been written Jesus was the fulfillment of all that God had said and done!

Jesus goes on to say for this purpose I was born and for this purpose I have come into the world to bear witness to the truth.

Should we say who is the truth rather than what is truth ?

That truth which was written that truth which was spoken has now entered into the realm of humanity.

John 1:1-5 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

John 1:14-17 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. 15 (John bore witness about him, and cried out, “This was he of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me ranks before me, because he was before me.’ ”) 16 For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace. 17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

In John 14:6 Jesus declares himself not only to be the way and the life but he declares that he is the truth.

The Scriptures declare that Jesus is the truth!

We Are Warned!

The truth has always been available to mankind. So what is the problem why is there such a huge disconnect when it comes to truth!

Romans 1:18-25 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. 19 For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. 20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. 21 For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools, 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things. 24 Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, 25 because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.

# 2. Dont Suppress The Truth!

1 John 4 :1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already. 4 Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 5 They are from the world; therefore they speak from the world, and the world listens to them. 6 We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error

# 3. Don’t Believe Everything You Hear!

John 4:16-26 16 Jesus said to her, “Go, call your husband, and come here.” 17 The woman answered him, “I have no husband.” Jesus said to her, “You are right in saying, ‘I have no husband’; 18 for you have had five husbands, and the one you now have is not your husband. What you have said is true.” 19 The woman said to him, “Sir, I perceive that you are a prophet. 20 Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, but you say that in Jerusalem is the place where people ought to worship.” 21 Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe me, the hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father. 22 You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews.

# 4. Don’t Pretend You Know The Truth!

John 4:23 But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. 24 God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”

# 4.You Cant Worship Without The Truth!

Jn 16:13When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.
