In truth, there are no boundaries. God is one person comprised of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. —
The people of Trinity are intertwined, active and communicating unceasingly. They have the same attributes.[i] They are equal and essential Persons of the Trinity. They love and glorify each other. All three are to be worshiped and glorified by believers. However, they are also distinct from one another, each having a “specialty.”
life, who came from the Father who with the Father and Son together is worshiped and glorified.”[ii]
God the Father is the creator. God the Son is the face of God
A well-known example of the Trinity in the bible is in Matthew 28: 19-20. Here, Jesus tells His disciples to “make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.”[iii]
[i]Holy Spirit – in unity: Gen1:1 [ii]Nicene -Constantinopolitan Creed 381AD [iii]Matthew 28:19, In another verse, Jesus has come to where John the Baptist is baptizing those who believe the Messiah (Jesus) is coming. As Jesus comes up from the water, the Spirit descends to indwell in His heart. The Father is heard saying He is pleased with His beloved Son. (Mark 1:10–11). Here it is clear that God is three persons – God the father, God the son (Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit. Three people = one God.
Around 1123, The Fourth Lateran Council formally declared the Holy Spirit an equal Person with the Son and the Father.
“It is the Father who begets, the Son who is begotten, and the Holy Spirit who proceeds. In this context, the one essence defines what God is, while the three persons define who God is.”
The Holy spirit is equal to the Father and the Son in their distinction and their indissoluble unity. Yet each person manifests attributes unique to them, thus proving that everything comes "from the Father," "through the Son," and "in the Holy Spirit.” [i]
