Is it ever right to say no to liberty? Sometimes, the answer is yes. In this passage, we see the church put doctrine into practice. Having come to agreement in the gospel concerning the role of the law of Moses, the council in Jerusalem moved to protect the liberty of believers, all while instructing them to exercise those freedoms according to the rule of love.
