John 14:1-7 Let not your heart be troubled

Let not your heart be troubled

Jesus is going to the cross and will lay down his life

The Shepherd will be slain and the sheep will be scattered as if they had no hope

Believe in me as you have believed in God

Just as God has kept his promises, so will Christ

2 Corinthians 5:1-8 absent from our body, present with our Lord

Titus 1:2 God cannot lie

Hope in Christ for Return

I go to prepare a place for you

A place of rest, comfort, life and blessing

That we may be together- This is life!!!

Eternal death is separation from our creator, our life source

Eternal life is in relationship with our creator

1 John 2:25, 5:10-13 this is the promise

verse 5:14 says this promise is overflowing into the here and now

I will come again

He has not left us but for a time

1 Timothy 6:12-19 hold onto eternal life

1 Peter 5:10 he is making us perfect for eternal glory

Hope in Christ for Redemption

He is the way, the truth and the life

Our redemption is not found in our temporal works but in an eternal person

Romans 6:23 eternal life through Jesus Christ

In Christ we have access to the eternal father in heaven

He became the sacrifice that was needed and obtained eternal redemption

Hebrews 9:12-15 not by blood of goats but of Christ
