Matt 6:25-34

Matthew 6:25–34 NKJV
“Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

prov 3:9-10

Proverbs 3:9–10 NKJV
Honor the Lord with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase; So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine.

Matthew 6:25–34 (TPC Mt): Jesus presents evidence that worry is irreverent, for it fails to recognize the God who gave us life and is sustaining it.

Worry is irrelevant; it does not change things, nor does it help us in coping with problems.

And worry is irresponsible; it burns up psychic energy without using it to apply constructive action to the problem.

Vs 25. The believer’s responsibility is to live for the Lord, trusting God for the future with unshakable confidence that He will provide.

Vs 34, Righteousness equates to-fulfilling an expectation in a relationship. When a husband fulfill the expectation in his marriage he is now the righteous husband of Mary. The same with God, when we fulfill the expectations of God we are equated to righteousness. What does he expects is to BELIEVE. And since we believe, Jesus said Love God and Love people, Love the lost

Rom 14:7 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

Meaning-The spiritual realm over which God reigns as king, or the fulfillment on Earth of God's will

Opposites. 1. Joy- tribulation 2. Peace-noise, conflict 3. Righteous-wicked, sinful, unjustifiable

Honour the Lord with thy substance and with the first fruits of all thine increase,” Proverbs 3:9. The purpose of the first fruit is to ensure sustainability of blessing on a job, life or business, to ensure favour, continuity and for constant progress to be upon all the endeavour of God's people.

Psalm 112:2–3 KJV 1900
His seed shall be mighty upon earth: The generation of the upright shall be blessed. Wealth and riches shall be in his house: And his righteousness endureth for ever.

We Bring the Faith, Jesus brought the Grace Grace= everything you need in the Earth Realm and in eternity —We didn’t have to work for it, or worry about it and all we had to do is BELIEVE, in the finish work of Jesus
