Power of Gods Name (Elohim)

We are getting to know God names, we are not just learning a new word or title that God goes by. Learning to know God by His names opens up the door to knowing His character more fully and experiencing His power more deeply.

Names reveal things about a person, even before you meet.Sometimes looks, or even character or gift or occupation.

In our culture our nickname reveal who we are.

Name some names. and what comes to mind..

Because of the depth of Gods character, he has various names that reflect the many ways He releates to humanity.

Elohim- reveals he is the strong creator, Jehovah Nissi - the Lords banner of Victory, a name you need when seeking victory, Jehovah Jireh - God the provider etc.

**Brands** clothing brands, busines brands etc. God name is his brand. (use it correctly) Then those who hijack God name and use it for self serving endeavors.

God has a name for evert situation we find ourselves in. Learning these names will help us to get fimiliar with Gods character and capiacity, and find rest and discover peace and power in His covenantal care of us.

First name name we can trust is the first name God uses to introduce Himself.

ELOHIM - The Strong Creator

Genesis 1:1 ESV

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.

Transcendent - Distinct from His creation / He is not part or joined with the creation. Not a tree, a river, a butterfly etc. God is outside of his creation.

Time - Hes set apart from the contranints of time. (Ever Present)

Space - He comes before all things made, transcends time space and matter.

simply god operates in another dimension. We are looking at his dimension from the perspective of our dimension.

In the Begining - we see that God (Elohim) is responsible for Time.
