The Stone
Psalm 45:1
Psalm 45:1
1 My heart is inditing a good matter:
I speak of the things which I have made touching My tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
Psalm 45:1 Beautiful words fill my mind.
I am speaking of royal things.
My tongue is like the pen of a skilled writer. The golden gracious gallant essence in this verse is that the word of God is exciting to the writer and the word of God makes the writer David speak of the wonderful royal things , the loving things, the gracious things, the merciful things, and wondrous things that are found in the word of God.

Let’s get started, in the Jesus Theology series Our Lord and Master is putting forth another parable. Look at
Matthew 21: 33 Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country:
Mt 21:34 And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it. 35 And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another. 36 Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise. The Lord says I’m the owner and I sent my servants to receive my fruits to receive my harvest but they were evil to my servants.
“Wait nah, you’re just the steward over the many manifold blessings that God has, but now you want treat the ones who come to collect on the investment that God has sown, evil low down dirty rotten and sinister even violent.
So you verse 35 says you beat them you stone them and you even kill them you treated God’s servant so badly until its a crying shame. And so the Master of the Vineyard The owner The HPIC God sent His only Son and let’s see how they treated Him look at verse
37. But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son. 38 But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance. The intent was neferious, luciferious, deadly toxic. They didn’t have any regrets any pause, any doubtful reservations no no no their resolute was wickedly resolved. In short they intented to kill HIM.
and 39 And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him. First of all you’re going to kick Me out of My own property You’re going to act like its yours and not Mine saith the Lord. But even worst y’all going to KILL ME for being the Righteous Heir of My Father’s inheritance. OO OO OO we and not another blessing. Come on Man.!!!!
Then in verse 40 Jesus began to speak of the dire consequences associated with harshly handling God’s People and God the Son.
Look at verse 40 When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen?
They answered the question for Jesus! What does that tell you?
1. The folk answering the question had been taught right from wrong. Even if they had not been taught the famous phrase “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”.
2. They knew the consequences of deviant devilish demonic behavior.
3. The scripture fitting for this event is Be not deceived God is not mocked what so ever a man sows that! shall he reap.
Look a t verse 41 They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons.
God is no respecter of persons If you’re wicked God will reward you according to the fruit of your doings. The text says God will miserably destroy those wicked men. “You don’t think that God is going to let wickedness destroy His Church and not have dire consequences for their actions do you?” Then the text declares that. verse 41 in the b clause says that God will let out the vineyard to other husbandmen. In other words God will fire you! If you don’t get your mind right. Tell your neighbor Get your mind right. Get your mind right so that your actions line up correctly with the word of God. God means for His Church vineyard to operate righteously. The in the c Clause the text says The next leadership team will produce fruits in their seasons. I ain’t got to twist their arms because they saw what I did with the last wicked crew. They see that I don’t play. They know to get to work on things that pertain to kingdom building business and never personal. Never Personal. It’s not about me. It’s not about you.But it’s all about God… Listen to me real good “I could not like you at all! Because some people can get on your last nerve but! if you stand for righteousness I’m with you all the way.
Look at what Jesus said in verse 42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?
The Stone 4x Lee thos (Lithos) mentioned 60 in the New Testament alone it’s either figurative or literal it’s the same thing. Look. Jesus told Peter upon this Stone I’ll build my Church Upon this rock. this petra And Jesus is saying here that I’m the Stone that the builders reject and I have become the Chief Corner Stone. I’m the only way to salvation at Mk 12:10; then look at Luke 20:17
Then there is the final separation from God… Nobody wants to live and go to church all their lives and then but hell wide open in the end. Man what a waste.. Why is it a waste.. it’s waste because the bible says it’s a waste the Pharasee’s behavior and methodologies were not conducive to pious, holy, repentant, regenerative, or sanctimonious living. They were mainly hypocrites Hoo Per op kree tees. Well let see if I’m wrong Look at Matthew 21:43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. 44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone This (Lee thos )shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder. In other words God is so omnipotent SO POWERFUL until if you’re in His way He’ll grind you down to powder. If you’re in God’s way He’ll make you DUST again, and the pastor will be saying man that’s born of a woman is of a few days and full of trouble ...... Listen brothers and sisters, I try my best not to get in God’s way. I’ll go the way He tells me but I won’t get in His way . I won’t block and obstruct the progress of ministry in the local church. I won’t be a part of tearing down folk in the church to build myself up so I can look good. God sits up high and still looks down low and God sees everything.
45 And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them. At the end of the parabolic discourse the Pharisees realized that this Jesus fellow is talking about us. Wait nah If the shoe fit you got to wear it. This word can’t be talking about me if the shoe doesn’t fit.And what I really want to get at is “As a preacher pastor teacher leader administrator I realize that I NEVER KNOW WHICH PART OF GOD’S WORD WILL BE APPLICABLE TO YOU. I NEVER KNOW WHICH PART WILL FIT YOUR FOOT LIKE THE GLASS SLIPPER THAT FITTED CINDERELLA’S FOOT. I NEVER KNOWS SO I PREPARE AS IF ALL OF GOD’S WORD IS EFFECTING AND AFFECTING EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US. BECAUSE ONLY GOD KNOWS THE CONTENT OF YOUR CHARACTER.
46 But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet. This is the part that my late great uncle taught me The Rev Dr James Allen, Sr. He said nephew you don’t have to fight them folk in your church, God will fight your battles for you. And I found out that when you show folk that I’m going to have peace in this house. That’s it and that’s all. most of them will listen. When you show folk ain’t no fighting going on in here, take that mess to you house or somewhere but not here in God’s house. And so why did it work out for Jesus that way? the text says When they sought when they purposed in their hearts, when they had it in their minds to get at Jesus, the bible says that they feared the multitude, they feared the crowed they feared the congregation because the people knew that Jesus was bonifide The people knew that Jesus was the real deal. The people knew that a great prophet had come even if they didn’t realize that Jesus was the Messiah, Even if they didn’t know that Jesus was God in the flesh and the flesh dwelled amongst them, They didn’t know Jesus as the Monghanes God But! They knew that He was a man of God they knew He had been with the Lord. They knew that God had put a special anointing on Jesus. The people knew that. And the Pharisees knew not to touch Jesus. I’m almost through but touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm. If you fight fire with fire the fire is going to get bigger. We’ve got to fight hate with love.
Lastly The setting for this parable was Jesus’ final ministry in Jerusalem after he had cleansed the temple.
The Jewish leaders had questioned Jesus about his actions, and part of his reply was this parable. And they didn’t like Jesus’ smart elic rhetoric Talking or teaching. And so Symbolically the parable addressed the situation between Jesus and the leaders. The Jewish leaders were represented in the parable as the tenants who were caring for the vineyard, which symbolized God’s people. Those tenants wickedly refused to honor the owner, who represented God, ultimately putting his son to death. Boy those Pharisees didn’t like Jesus’ language because
The parable speaks of the coming death of Jesus in symbolic terms, and Jesus concluded it by referring the Jewish leaders back to their own wicked ways.
Then the original writing of this famous scripture is Psalm 118:22-23 The stone which the builders refused
Is become the head stone of the corner.
23 This is the LORD’s doing;
Isaiah 28:16 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD,
Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone,
A tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation:
lHe that believeth shall not make haste.
17 Judgment also will I lay to mthe line,
And righteousness to the plummet:
And the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies,
And the waters shall overflow the hiding place.
Act 4:10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. 11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Now I know I’m through and thank ya’ll for stayed tuned in to this great lesson as it is applicable to The Jesus Theology Series.
*Matthew 22:33 And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine.
34 But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together. 35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, 36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
41 While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, 42 Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, The Son of David. 43 He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying, 44 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool? 45 If David then call him Lord, how is he his son? 46 And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions.
Psalm 110:1–7;
1 The LORD said unto my Lord,
Sit thou at my right hand,
Until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
2 The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion:
Rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.
3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness
From the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.
4 The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent,
pThou art a priest for ever After the order of Melchizedek.
5 The Lord at thy right hand
Shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.
6 He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies;
He shall wound the heads over many countries.
7 He shall drink of the brook in the way:
Therefore shall he lift up the head.
