Purity in Heart
Living a life with Jesus purifies your whole being.
Doing good acts with bad intentions.
A life with Jesus will purify
You are NOT responsible for your purification. You cannot make yourself pure. Only Jesus can.
Philippians 1:6 — If Jesus began His work in you, He will finish it, as well.
The fountain of the heart must be purified before the streams can become pure. He who is trying to reach heaven by his own works in keeping the law is attempting an impossibility. There is no safety for one who has merely a legal religion, a form of godliness. The Christian's life is not a modification or improvement of the old, but a transformation of nature. Ellen G. White.
An impure tree cannot bear pure fruit.
Sometimes, we perform good acts, so that we can look good in front of others.
Would you do something selfless even if no one was looking? Pure in heart should not be restricted to moral, still less sexual, purity; it denotes one who loves God with all his heart (Deut. 6:5), with an undivided loyalty, and whose inward nature corresponds with his outward profession (cf. Isa. 29:13) - R.T. France
What you do externally must be consistent with who you are internally.
Your desire for a pure heart is actually a desire for Jesus.
Purification is only scary if you’re alone.
Be who you is, 'cause if you ain't who you is, you is who you ain't.”
PURITY — Authenticity.
HEART — ALL of you.
