What will be your response when Jesus comes into your space?
We’re continuing our series called “CALIBRATE”
Calibrate is defined as “to determine, correct, or put the measuring marks on.”
It is also defined as “ to make standard by finding out and correcting for the differences from an accepted or ideal value.
From His entrance into the world, Jesus has been intentional on re-establishing the standard by which believers must live. When we look in the gospel according to John, there are listed events that take place that express and explain a problem that he solved, and a correction he made to the teaching in that area.
Starting at pentecost Sunday, we examined how necessary it was for Holy Spirit to come into our lives. Jesus knew that we couldn’t live the way He truly desired us to so he gave us the Person of the Holy Spirit.
Our text for this afternoon takes place in John 5.

Here in this text we see Jesus coming into Jerusalem during a banquet held on the sabbath. Per the customs of this time, there was no work to be done of any form on the sabbath. It was required, mandated, that all work cease.
In Jesus’s fashion, he notices that the religious laws have been set in place, but there are a sea of people who are in need. Let’s look at the text
