Of the five warning passages in Hebrews, the one in chapter 10 seems the most severe and difficult to understand. Exploring this and other difficult passages, we find is that those who see them as attacks on assurance have missed the meaning entirely. Their misinterpretation has undermined many Christians assurance and joy.
