The Bible Is Inerrant

Introduction:

1. God Cannot Error

Romans 3:4 “May it never be! Rather, let God be found true, though every man be found a liar, as it is written, “That You may be justified in Your words, And prevail when You are judged.””

Titus 1:2 “in the hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised long ages ago,”

Psalm 119:160 “The sum of Your word is truth, And every one of Your righteous ordinances is everlasting.”

Hebrews 6:18 “so that by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have taken refuge would have strong encouragement to take hold of the hope set before us.”

2. The Bible is the Word of God

John 10:34-35 “Jesus answered them, “Has it not been written in your Law, ‘I said, you are gods’? “If he called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken),”

Mark 7:8 ““Neglecting the commandment of God, you hold to the tradition of men.”” Mark 7:13 “thus invalidating the word of God by your tradition which you have handed down; and you do many things such as that.””

1 Thess 2:13 “For this reason we also constantly thank God that when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men, but for what it really is, the word of God, which also performs its work in you who believe.”
