The Bible says in (2 Cor 5:17) that when you convert with the one and only Lord Jesus Christ, you become a new creation. The old you and life have passed away, and your new you and life have just begun. which means you are no longer You are anymore, your life is in Jesus hands now. The one who saved you as now started the process of build you up to the person God has called you to be. No longer will you waste your life pleasing your flesh but you will spend the rest of your life pleasing God with the Holy Spirits help. The goal for your life is live like our example Jesus Christ.
This book is for those trying to figure out where to start in your new life, whether you been saved for a while or your just coming into your new life with Jesus. There are daily practices and disciplines we do as christians that push us closer to Jesus and helps us embraces our new life. Just like there were daily practice we did in our life before Just. Those practices were so deep in us we didn't have to think about them so in our new life.
In this book, I want talk about those daily practices and disciplines that shaped me and help me cultivate my relationship with Jesus. Putting my faith and life in Jesus and walking this life out was the best decision Ive ever made in my . I came into converison in 2015, I comepletely gave my life to the Lord and ive been saved for almost a decade now. My satifaction road was far from easy, alot of mistakes and shortcomes but Jesus never left me in my failures, he promised me that he would be with me and working through me. that some promises is for everyone
being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ (Phil 1:6 ASV)
God is writting a story of your life and he has a plan for your life, Embraces your new life even if you still feel like your not growing. Jesus is fully aware this isnt a overnight procees, you don't walking into the gym for the first time work and expect to look like "Dwayne The rock Johnson" when you come out. Just like being phyiscal fit it takes more than going to the gym once. There is a die , disciplines and surrendering side to the journey process we must have in order to be build up. So acts our spiritual lifes, Go thing we have the Holy spirit which I will talk about later in the book to lead on.
