You can’t be a good father without being a good Son(Lets make that Godly Father without being a Godly Son)

Introduction: The Creation of the world and everything there is, is by God The Father. He created the heavens, earth, and man all by his design and for his good pleasure to work in us as it is stated in Philippians. In order to discuss what it is to be a Good Father lets talk about the book of beginnings where our Good Father work had begun. Genesis talks about our first interaction with God The Father and the work that he had done doing the time of creation. He made the earth, sun, moon, days, man, and animals, A perfect place for man as Genesis says he saw that it was good. God gave to Adam everything that was need and wanted in garden even dominion. During this time Adam was giving two orders by, The Lord God, to work the garden , and (and not listen to your wife) joking.... to eat from every tree except the tree of Good and Evil, cause then you will surely die. Seeing that Adam would get tired of being alone(like bobby wo’ would say) and need help he even created a women to be there along side. The next events would change the course of the relationship between mankind and God and the Earth itself. Thorough Adams action sin and evading the presence of God was introduced to the mankind by Adam and Eve disobeying and then hiding from God when he walked through the cool of the day as stated in Genesis 3:8-10. From that point on the ground because of the first father was cursed for our sake and from that time on Adam had to make a way for himself.

And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD. 2 And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground. 3 And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD. 4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering: 5 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell. 6 And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? 7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him. 8 And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him. 9 And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper? 10 And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground. 11 And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand; 12 When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength;

A Father is unable to teach his son the proper way of living for God(giving proper sacrifice) if he himself doesn’t live or sacrifice for God properly/ Adam actions brought death and death was the action commited by his eldest/Can’t teach his son the proper way to love if he doesn’t love properly…

Also recognize when your strengths isn’t enough. The Lord came and spoke with Cain about what was going on and gave him game and cain thought the better option was to get rid of the opposition instead of

And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time, 16 And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: 17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; 18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.

Abraham was counted worth by God to be the Father of nations, his obedience was counted as righteousness and as God told him before in earlier scriptures he became a father of nations and kings also being a friend of God. At some point we have to grow from a adolescent natural or spiritual to becoming a friend were still a son but now a bond of truth sacrifice and love has developed. That goes for people who are your father, leader, or any authoritative position. to the definition of a friend is a person whom one knows and with whom one has a bond of mutual affection, typically of family relations.

Now lets look at it from a natural aspect.

He drank of the wine and became drunk and lay uncovered in his tent. 22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father and told his two brothers outside. 23 Then Shem and Japheth took a garment, laid it on both their shoulders, and walked backward and covered the nakedness of their father. Their faces were turned backward, and they did not see their father’s nakedness. 24 When Noah awoke from his wine and knew what his youngest son had done to him, 25 he said,

“Cursed be Canaan;

a servant of servants shall he be to his brothers.”

26 He also said,

“Blessed be the LORD, the God of Shem;

and let Canaan be his servant.

27  May God enlarge Japheth,

and let him dwell in the tents of Shem,

and let Canaan be his servant.”

The sins from Canaan Father as the son on Noah lead him into servitude and brought weight, debt, and a curse to his son life that was not intended. We as Father do that constantly, because of selfishness, inconsideration, inconsistency, fear and bad decisions, we make because of pride we bring weight, debt, and curses on our house. This is inspiration from the scripture. Everyday we don’t listen to our fathers, natural, spiritual, or anyone who has authority doing things our way because we seen them in a vulnerable condition and moving in ways that make life and our days comfortable all the while bringing unruliness in our homes and wondering why our children or wives aren’t listing to use and want to serve and listen to other ppl.

Understanding the proper to carry the weight of being a father stems from learning to be a son. We should do only what the holy spirit teach us to do. Their is only two types of Fathers, Father of lies and sin as john describe in John 8 :44 or a Godly son brought into the adoption of the faith where we cry ABA Father and Christ through the holy spirit teaches us how to be father cause he’s the only that has seen and done what the father do. The one constant that you see is God never stop being a father from the first creation even until now. He still prepares places for us and we still eat on the tree of Good and Evil which results leads us to try and figure it out for ourselves . Just a reminder The commandments that God has given to Adam didn’t change. They are still required to this day. But there are men who chose not to protect their families, provide for their families and use every excuse in the book to bear the full burden whether it’s spiritual through pray, fasting and showing dedication and comment to God and church. or natural as getting that brow wet. It’s impossible to be a good father without being a god son
