To begin with happy Father’s Day I want to take a moment to preach about

What kind of Faith do you have. 2x. Listen True Bible Faith is confident and obedience to God’s Word in spite of the circumstances or the consequences.

Brothers and sisters that has to soak into your heart, mind, and soul. True bible faith is confident and obedience to God’s Word in spite of the circumstances or the consequences.Because this is a good biblical formula to adopt, here’s why. The bible says that Moses sent out 12 spies to spy out the land. Only Caleb and Joshua came back with an excellent report about how the promise Land was a land that flowed with milk and honey. And if you noticed 3x. The ten spies with the negative report their, names are not remembered or rehearsed in biblical history or antiquity. (Look it up!)

Joshua and Caleb went out as champions not as whimpering, wining, wimps. I’m going to have faith like Caleb and Joshua. Those are the true hero’s of faith.

Because True Bible Faith is confident and obedience to God’s Word in spite of the circumstances or the consequences.

For the record this is not a definition of faith but it’s a description of what faith does, and how faith works.

Listen Shiloh True Bible Faith is not blind optimism no no no nor is True Bible Faith is not a Manufactured “I Hope -So Feeling”,

I hope we could do it, no indeed.... Lastly True Bible Faith is not an intellectual assent to a doctrine.

True Bible Faith is believing God! in spite the evidence! Yes Sir

True Bible Faith is confident and obedience to God’s Word in spite of the circumstances or the consequences. Because Hebrews 11:1 says Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen. Faith operate in a simple manner. Here’s what I mean

1.God speaks!!! and we hear His Word. Period! You’re either on board or you ain’t!

2. We trust His Word and act up on it no matter what the circumstances are and no matter what the consequences may be.

3. Faith the size of a mustard seed can move all mountains because the circumstances may be impossible, and the consequences may be frightening. And they may take us in unknown territory But if we obey God’s Word just as if we were in prosperous times and believe God for His word I’m a living witness that God will make a way out of no way.

Don’t ever bet against the Holy Ghost.

Don’t ever try to treat God like He’s a man like you an I.

God can do anything but Fail. Did you know that it is possible to start out with good faith? and you can fight the good fight of faith but in the process of time you could take God for granted and as a result God takes His covenant covering and His anointing and His blessings away from you?

Look at Genesis 4:3 And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD. 4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering: 5 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell. 6 And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? 7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him. Long story short when you read Hebrews 11 and you see the name Abel represented as a mortaring hero and you analysis the Genesis 4 text with the story of Cain and Abel you can clearly see how in the process of time. Cain got tired of giving the right way to God, but Abel kept giving from his heart.

And when you give from your heart, !not your politics, or your clicks or your clans or your committees or your personal pet pev projects, God will honor the righteous giver. Am I my brothers’s keeper .Listen Even after jealous Cain killed his own brother Abel. The bible says that God told Cain that thy brother’s blood crieth from the ground.

In other word what ever dirty, devilish, deed that’s done in the dark, God will expose it in the light. And So Abel gets to go down the red carpet lane in Biblical History as hero of the Faith. And Cain as a fuchative and a vagabond.

What kind of faith do you have.

Then in Hebrews 11:5  By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Just briefly let me unpack this pious, potent, and powerful prophetic text. The Holy Rid says that Enoch walked with God perfectly. One day I want to meet Enoch.Because Enoch has had a Posthumous Influence on me and will as millions of Christians throughout the ages. Enoch’s Character was impeccable and second to none. The bible says He walked with God 24/7 day in and day out everyday for 365 days in a year and then the bible says for 365 years perfectly. And one day while walking through the garden of the paradise of God creation on earth, God just took Enoch to heaven. Enoch didn’t die. Enoch transitioned from mortality to immortality in an instance. It had to be in an instance because the bible says for the believer “absent from the body is present with the Lord”. I always wondered to myself !Enoch, what were you talking with God about everyday.Lastly, Enoch had a Posthumous Influence on me.

But then the text takes a swift turn in verse 6 and says But without Faith it is impossible to please God. And this is where the rubber meets the road.

As a Father I have had to have strong Faith. It’s always been “Pray, trust, and never doubt the Lord will work it out. Weak faith ain’t gon cut it with God!!! The Bible says that it is impossible to please God without having faith in His Process. Because the b clause in the text in verse 6 say for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, Stop right there.

That means that we have to have Imperative Faith 3x. It’s a must. I believe whole heartedly that God exist. I believe that there is only one True and Living God. And I believe in Him so much until I could give you a 100 names of God and then turn around and give you a 100 more and still have hundreds more that couldn’t possibly adequately describe His Ubiquitous Nature. Just let me give you Three He’s Omnipotent… He’s Omniscient.... then He;s Omnipresent.... He’s a Rock...... He’s Jehovah Jireh the Lord our Provider because the last part of verse 6 says And that God is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him… David said Lord with my whole heart have I sought after thy ways and commandments.

And Fathers! when you really seek after God with your whole heart, listen good, you’ll act godly and not carnal minded. People will see the light of God in you.

I know I’m right about because the bible says Hebrews 11:7  By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

NOAH had faith, Noah had Fear, and Noah had Fortitude to Finish the Final Phase of God Plan. Noah Built an ARK…450 feet long 75 feet wide and 45 feet high. and Noah Preached one sermon for 120 years.... and none of the people got better!!! I said Lord that ain’t right. And the Lord said Hush and Preach what I tell you until the very day you die. Preach until I call you home. Preach when they want to hear you, and preach more so when they don’t want to hear what I tell you to say to them.

What kind of Faith do you have?

Then there is Abraham’s story of Faith in Hebrews 11: 8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. 9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: 10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. 11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.

Abraham’s story is unique in that When God told him to leave the confines of his daddy’s estate, Abraham left and went into a strange land . A land that flowed with milk and honey and long story short, because of his faith, Abraham became the Father of many nations. His wife Sara had baby Isaac in her very old age. Isaac and Rebecca had Jacob. And the names Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob are the Patriarch's of the Faith even until this day! Yes Indeed.

In other words, your activated Faith in God Just might land you in the Hall of Faith one day. And the a Hall of Faith is better than the wordly Hall of Fame.

I don’t want to hold you too long here this morning but I want us to remember that Faith is the reason we remember great people who lived in the past.

The bible says that By Faith Jacob in his old age blessed Joseph’s two sons.

By Faith Joseph told the Children of Israel when I die bring my bones back home to the Promised Land. um um

The bible says that By Faith Moses obeyed God and through God’s Hand sent plaque after plaque on Egypt, But Pharoah wouldn’t let God people go.um um

But when Moses obeyed God and instituted the Passover of The Lamb Pharoah had to let God’s people go. Moses brought the children of Israel through the Red Sea um um on dry land .

and Pharaoh’s army drowned in the Red Sea.

WHAT KIND OF FAITH DO YOU HAVE?

By Faith Joshua marched around the walls of Jericho 7x and on the 7th day the walls of Jericho came tumbling down. Oh yes they did. um um

By Faith Rehab the prostitute goes down in the Hall of Faith because she helped the Israelite spies You never know who you’re going to need in this life. Oh Lordy!

By Faith Gideon took 300 mighty men and won the battle for Israel.

The bible says By Faith Barak and Debra led the children of Israel to victory and saved the Land from their enemies. WE got to have strong Faith if we really want to win. Oh Lord

Because the bible says that By Strong Faith Samson called strength down from heaven and destroyed all of Israel’s enemies. He was the strongest man to ever live.

Then let talk about Daniel In the Lion’s den because By Faith Daniel was saved from the LIONS in the lion’s den.

By Faith Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego; went through the fiery furnace because they wouldn’t bow down to a false god. They came through the hot flames unharmed. And Not a hair on their heads were cinched. Ain’t God Alright.

They were physically weak against the great army of Nebuchadnezzar, but yet by Faith they were made strong. They were powerful because of their Faith

WHAT KIND OF FAITH DO YOU HAVE?

By Faith David Killed the big old giant Goliath with a rock and a sling shot and then Chopped of his head.

By Faith Elijah Stood upon the top of Mt Carmel and said How long halt ye between two opinions. And He called Fire down from Heaven and burnt up the sacrifices and all of Israel said Elijah’s God is the true and living God. Ain’t God Alright yes.

Faith is an action word because the bible says Faith without works is dead. We’ve got to believe that God is able and then act on our belief system. Have Faith and God will work it all out . Oh yes He will. Happy Father’s Day brothers go out and enjoy your day.
