Genesis 17:1–2 ESV
1 When Abram was ninety-nine years old the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am God Almighty; walk before me, and be blameless, 2 that I may make my covenant between me and you, and may multiply you greatly.”
El” is the name of God that speaks of power.
Shaddai” mean from a Hebrew word meaning “to be strong”; others prefer a word meaning “mountain” certainly a mountain is a symbol of strength.
The Hebrew word shad is used 24 times and is always translated as "breast".
El (Almighty God) with Shaddai (All-sufficiency and strength) we have "The Almighty God who nurtures and strengthens you".

1. HE IS SUFFICIENT TO FULFILL HIS PLAN IN OUR LIVES. Genesis 17:1

1 When Abram was ninety-nine years old the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am God Almighty; walk before me, and be blameless,
The root word of SHADDAI is SADAD which means “powerful”. It also means to “deal with mightily and sometimes with force or strength”.
Ephesians 3:20 ESV
20 Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us,
2 Corinthians 12:9 ESV
9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Romans 12:1 ESV
1 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.
El Shaddai equips and empowers us to pursue His plan for our lives.
Genesis 17:10–12 ESV
10 This is my covenant, which you shall keep, between me and you and your offspring after you: Every male among you shall be circumcised. 11 You shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskins, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and you. 12 He who is eight days old among you shall be circumcised. Every male throughout your generations, whether born in your house or bought with your money from any foreigner who is not of your offspring,
Deuteronomy 30:6 ESV
6 And the Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your offspring, so that you will love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live.
Jeremiah 4:4 ESV
4 Circumcise yourselves to the Lord; remove the foreskin of your hearts, O men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem; lest my wrath go forth like fire, and burn with none to quench it, because of the evil of your deeds.”
“God can accomplish things that are impossible”
Genesis 17:17 ESV
17 Then Abraham fell on his face and laughed and said to himself, “Shall a child be born to a man who is a hundred years old? Shall Sarah, who is ninety years old, bear a child?”
Do not limit God with your own concept of physical limitations because GOD is ALMIGHTY.
Faith can only grow when the object of our faith becomes real
“The more we know God, the more our faith will Grow”

2.  HE IS SUFFICIENT TO PROSPER AND SUPPLY THE NEEDS IN OUR LIVES.Genesis 28:1-3

Genesis 28:1–3 ESV
1 Then Isaac called Jacob and blessed him and directed him, “You must not take a wife from the Canaanite women. 2 Arise, go to Paddan-aram to the house of Bethuel your mother’s father, and take as your wife from there one of the daughters of Laban your mother’s brother. 3 God Almighty bless you and make you fruitful and multiply you, that you may become a company of peoples.
Genesis 25:20–21 ESV
20 and Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah, the daughter of Bethuel the Aramean of Paddan-aram, the sister of Laban the Aramean, to be his wife. 21 And Isaac prayed to the Lord for his wife, because she was barren. And the Lord granted his prayer, and Rebekah his wife conceived.
Genesis 26:1–3 ESV
1 Now there was a famine in the land, besides the former famine that was in the days of Abraham. “God is sufficient to prosper us and supply for all our needs”
Philippians 4:19 ESV
19 And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

3. HE IS SUFFICIENT TO BRING TRANSFORMATION IN OUR LIVES.Genesis 35:10-12

Genesis 35:10–12 ESV
10 And God said to him, “Your name is Jacob; no longer shall your name be called Jacob, but Israel shall be your name.” So he called his name Israel. 11 And God said to him, “I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply. A nation and a company of nations shall come from you, and kings shall come from your own body. 12 The land that I gave to Abraham and Isaac I will give to you, and I will give the land to your offspring after you.”
“To transform somebody takes time”
Philippians 1:6 ESV
6 And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 12:7–8 ESV
7 So to keep me from becoming conceited because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, a thorn was given me in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to harass me, to keep me from becoming conceited. 8 Three times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it should leave me.
2 Corinthians 12:9–10 ESV
9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
When we recognize our weakness and surrender to God Almighty, we will experience His power.
Our lives should not be defined by the physical comforts of this world because: GOD IS ALL-SUFFICIENT IN EVERY AREA OF OUR LIVES!
