How quickly time passes us by.

Before we know it we are 30

Before we know it we are 40

Time moves fast

And you can not get it back.

Conversations with my wife

We think ourselves to be carnal beings who need to put on the spiritual life.

But we are actually spiritual beings, who put on carnal bodies....

But only for a moment.

You get one chance with this carnal body.

You get one chance on earth to prove you love God.

THERE WILL BE NO DO OVERS!!!!!

While you are here, you get one chance

THERE IS ONE CONSTANT THING WE HERE PEOPLE SAY AS THEY AGE.

I WISH I DID THINGS BETTER.

I WASTED A LOT OF TIME.

The Israelites in the Desert

They had all the momentum to go and conquer the land.

They were freed from slavery with a great manifestation of God’s power.

They crossed the Red Sea!!!

They were fed when they were hungry and satisfied when they were thirsty.

They saw God’s glory!!!!

And yet, when it was time to conquer they decided they wouldn’t!!!

What did that cost them????

40 years of wandering.

No Velaron el Tiempo… y se le fue la hora!!!

Am I wandering in the desert?

Am I wasting time???

Samson wasted the Calling

Samson had been called by God to awesome.

To have strength like no other.

Power to destroy enemies with one blow.

Power to overcome many men all at once.

Yet, he had a problem

He was full of lust.

The lust caused him is eyes.

He was blind to Delilah, until she took his actual eyes.

He wasted the calling of God for pleasure.

How many more victories could he have one if he would have followed the Lord whole hearted.

You think as he was locked up by the philisteans he didnt think about that.

But it was too late.

What are we doing with what God gave us?

God give to us Talents

Matthew 25:14–15 RVR60

14 Porque el reino de los cielos es como un hombre que yéndose lejos, llamó a sus siervos y les entregó sus bienes. 15 A uno dio cinco talentos, y a otro dos, y a otro uno, a cada uno conforme a su capacidad; y luego se fue lejos.

14 “For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. 15 And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey.

God gave something to do.

To some He entrusted more than others.

What are we doing with what God gave us ?

Are we wasting time?

Am I wasting time?

Time I wont get back.

WE GET ONE CHANCE AT LIFE!!!!!

ONE ROUND ON EARTH TO PROVE TO GOD WE LOVE HIM!!!!

WE GET ONE CHANCE TO AFFECT THE WORLD AROUND US!!!!

One chance to be good Christian.

One chance to be a good father.

One chance to be a good husband

One chance to bond with that one kid before he grows up and leaves the house.

Are we keeping and eye on the clock, because time is moving....

and we wont get it back.

Israelites return to build

When the Israelites made it out of Babylon, they were allowed to return to their homeland and rebuild.

They started to build but then, things got hard....

Ezra 4:23–24 RVR60

23 Entonces, cuando la copia de la carta del rey Artajerjes fue leída delante de Rehum, y de Simsai secretario y sus compañeros, fueron apresuradamente a Jerusalén a los judíos, y les hicieron cesar con poder y violencia. 24 Entonces cesó la obra de la casa de Dios que estaba en Jerusalén, y quedó suspendida hasta el año segundo del reinado de Darío rey de Persia.

The jews had a mission but were intimidated to stop.

When the pressure got to much.

The battle was too hard.

The enemy was too strong.

We will stop!!!!! and...... waste time!!!

They began to waste time doing there own thing instead.

God sends a prophet to wake them up

Haggai 1:3–7 RVR60

3 Entonces vino palabra de Jehová por medio del profeta Hageo, diciendo: 4 ¿Es para vosotros tiempo, para vosotros, de habitar en vuestras casas artesonadas, y esta casa está desierta? 5 Pues así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos: Meditad bien sobre vuestros caminos. 6 Sembráis mucho, y recogéis poco; coméis, y no os saciáis; bebéis, y no quedáis satisfechos; os vestís, y no os calentáis; y el que trabaja a jornal recibe su jornal en saco roto. 7 Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos: Meditad sobre vuestros caminos.

Is is time to do nothing?

Is it time to be comfortable?

The devil is gaining territory and they had the church in ruins.

Their spiritual lives were in ruins while the enemy laughed and ridiculed.

God stirred them back to life!!!!

You are wasting time!!!!

Wake up and build.

Haggai 1:8 RVR60

8 Subid al monte, y traed madera, y reedificad la casa; y pondré en ella mi voluntad, y seré glorificado, ha dicho Jehová.

8 Go up to the mountains and bring wood and build the temple, that I may take pleasure in it and be glorified,” says the Lord.

Get back to work!!!!

No more wasting time.

As humans, we some times lose focus, but we got to snap out of it and return to what is important.

Why because time flys.

Before we know it, we are old and asking ourselves what did I waste all those good years in.

This goes for our lives with God

Our lives with our children.

One thing is for sure.

God sees time as something moving very fast.
