The Fire Must never Go Out
12 And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings. 13 The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.
dearly beloved,
Today is the start of our fasting and prayer week. God in the book of Leviticus has commanded that the fire on the alter shall never be quenched it is a continuous tool to be ready to consume the offer of sacrifice on it, for it is an image of Christ.
This fire is an emblem of the love of Jesus to His people, which is ever in flame and burning towards his beloved bride (We the church). This fire can not be quenched by no one. Not by our sins and iniquities, nor by the horrible suffering He went under to atone for our sins. His love, this fire is powerful and never ending and always the same.
It is unquenchable
This fire is also an emblem of the Spirit of God in the hearts of the believer, although we are sometimes very low, yet in our heart is a fire that is given to us by the Holy Spirit that gives us assurance and peace in times of difficulty. This fire shall always be with us
This fire is also the word of God. This word is an consuming fire, every evil is shaking in fear fort the word of God
This Fire is also an emblem of the prayers of the saints for the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. On that alter of fire is burnt a sweet saviour of great smelling odour.
8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
May Today this fire be revived and become an blazing fire full of passion towards your beloved saviour. Let us pray and remember de unfailing love of God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit
God bless you all.
