Greeting & Intro

Thank you for the opportunity to share. Privileged to be Hanks Brother and have him and Ivettes as members of the board guiding the ministry of Joshuas Pormise.
Joshua’s Promise was started because of the need for a place for us men to transition to, to live as Godly men and learn how take our rightful role in our families and our community.
We just Celebrated 10 years in March. I know the Gathering just celebrated an anniversary also. We give God praise for His faithfulness to His promises.
Thankful for the patriarchs who are part of my story. Mike & sister T, Tony and Marie, Rich and Carla. Thank you!

Miracles!

Do you believe in miracles? (Body) When was the last time you saw a miracle?(Body)
Before Christ was crucified he caused many miracles.
Jesus changed water into wine (John 2:1-11). Jesus cured the nobleman's son (John 4:46-47). Jesus cast out an unclean spirit (Mark  Jesus healed a leper (Mark 1:40-45). Jesus healed the centurion's servant (Matthew 8:5-13).Jesus Jesus stilled the storm (Matthew 8:23-27). Jesus cured the paralytic (Matthew 9:1-8). Jesus opened the eyes of two blind men (Matthew 9:27-31) Jesus loosened the tongue of a man who could not speak (Matthew 9:32-33). Jesus healed an invalid man at the pool called Bethesda (John 5:1-9). Jesus restored a withered hand (Matthew 12:10-13) Jesus feeds the multitude 5,000 plus (John 6:5-14)
Jesus saves the Adulteress from stoning (John 8:4-9)
John 14:11-14 11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves. 12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.
What do you think He might mean by that? What are the greater things? Hold onto that thought and think about that as I ask the men of Courageous House to come and share. I believe it will give us some insight.

Greater things will you do..................

Which is greater physical sight or spiritual sight? John 3:3 Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.” I Corinthians 2:14 But people who aren’t spiritual can’t receive these truths from God’s Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them and they can’t understand it, for only those who are spiritual can understand what the Spirit means. Which is greater physical healing or spiritual healing?
Which is greater physical hearing or spiritual hearing? John 10:3-6 The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4 When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. 5 But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger’s voice.” 6 Jesus used this figure of speech, but the Pharisees did not understand what he was telling them.
Romans 10:17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.
In John 14:12, Jesus makes the amazing promise that whoever believes in Him will do not only the works that He did, but even greater works. Healing in the physical certainly gives glory to God’s power and passion for us. but to heal a body that is going to die in a few years anyway is not a greater work.

The Greatest Thing!

The men have all shared different experiences of the greater things but there is one thing that is common to us all, THE GREATEST THING.
There are two words that sound very similar Resuscitation and Resurrection
Resuscitate: to revive from apparent death or unconsciousness.
We may have been resuscitated at different points in our lives by the love of important people in our live or even others that had compassion on us but that is drastically different than Resurrected which is being raised from the dead.
In Ephesians 2:1-6, And You He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others. But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.
I believe most of us can say with confidence that we were (all fourth day dead) we werein the fourth day as Lazuras was. There was no resuscitation possible. I know that people said Just as Martha did, “He has been there at least four days there is the smell of death to be sure”.
John 11: 39-40 “Take away the stone,” he said. “But, Lord,” said Martha, the sister of the dead man, “by this time there is a bad odor, for he has been there four days.” Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?” Lester come out! Justin come out! Mike come out! John come out! Tim come out!, Staton Come out!

That for sure is the Greatest Thing!!!!!!

I believe that as we share our redeemed lives as we have here today we have an opportunity to introduce to the world the one who rich in mercy made us ALIVE raising us up into eternal life to be with one another together with HIM!!!!!!! I want to thank my brother who since long ago was worried about my soul.
