Origin
The story of Judaism begins with the creation of the world, and with Adam and Eve.
Adam and Eve ate of the tree that God forbade them, and thus sin entered the world.
The story of the Hebrews is built off of covenants.
Edenic Covenant- Have dominion over creation. (Gen 1:26-31)
Adamic Covenant- Cursed due to sin, but promise of grace. (Gen 3:16-19)
Noahic Covenant- God would never destroy the world by flood. (Gen 9)
Abrahamic Covenant- all nations would be blessed from his seed. (Gen 12:1-7)
Mosaic Covenant- Ten Commandments, 613 Instructions, and Israel would be God’s chosen people. (Exod. 19-24)
Palestinian Covenant- God called the people to return to Him, and be committed to the law of Moses. (Deut. 29:1-29)
Davidic Covenant- There would be a messiah who would come from the line of David. (2 Sam. 7:8-16)
