Why is the resurrection so important?

The Resurrection is essential to our faith. (12-28)

The resurrection of Christ attests to the fact there will be a resurrection of the dead.
The proof is in the pudding
If there’s nothing in the future, then our faith is a waste.
We can rest assured of the resurrection.

Without the resurrection, faith is meaningless. (29-34)

Even the errant practices of the Corinthians were based in a hope of the resurrection. (see the Marcionite baptism practices, etc. for an example of what this looked like.
“Live like there is no tomorrow”
As Christians, we must always live like there is tomorrow.
We can live for the hope of the resurrection.
We can faithfully proclaim the resurrection of Christ!
