A) Going all the way back to the Book of Exodus, God gave very specific instruction in which the Israelites agreed to follow and obey

What about our commitment to God?

A) When we became a Christian, what did we commit to?

Loving God with all our heart, loving our neighbor, turning from sin

Are we guilty of breaking our vows to God?

2. (V 2:2) Make up your minds to honor my name

A) Or you will be punished with a curse

Deut 11:27 “You will be blessed if you obey the commands of the Lord your God that I am giving you today.”

Do we take the warning to heart?

3. (2:5) The purpose of the covenant was to bring life and peace ( It was a blessing )

A) The tribe of Levi was designated to serve as priests
