The Bridge of Faith
The Bridge to Nowhere
The Bridge to Nowhere
The Bridge to Nowhere is an arch bridge that was built in 1936 north of Azusa, California, United States in the San Gabriel Mountains. It spans the East Fork of the San Gabriel River and was meant to be part of a road connecting the San Gabriel Valley with Wrightwood, California. The East Fork Road was still under construction when it was washed out during the great flood of March 1–2, 1938. The East Fork Road project was abandoned as a result of the floods, leaving the bridge forever stranded in the middle of what is now the Sheep Mountain Wilderness. Does this describe your life? Have you been on a bridge to nowhere?
Faith is the bridge between you and a relationship with God.
Faith is the bridge between you and a relationship with God.
God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Faith is the bridge between the seen and the unseen.
Faith is the bridge between the seen and the unseen.
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,
while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Faith is the bridge between the impossible and the possible.
Faith is the bridge between the impossible and the possible.
Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
Faith is the bridge between promise and fulfillment.
Faith is the bridge between promise and fulfillment.
And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end,
that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
Faith is the bridge between the temporal and the eternal.
Faith is the bridge between the temporal and the eternal.
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,
while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Faith is the bridge between death and life.
Faith is the bridge between death and life.
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.
And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
She said to Him, “Yes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.”
Faith is the bridge between where I am and where God is taking me.
Faith is the bridge between where I am and where God is taking me.
By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.
Lean into faith in the face of fear, doubt, and unbelief.
While He was still speaking, someone came from the ruler of the synagogue’s house, saying to him, “Your daughter is dead. Do not trouble the Teacher.”
But when Jesus heard it, He answered him, saying, “Do not be afraid; only believe, and she will be made well.”
Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!”
Fight the good fight of faith.
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
As soldiers, we fight the good fight of faith until victory is gained in this life or until we are called home off the battlefield.
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
