Let make our way to Joshua 5:13-15

many people feel that God should be on your side. Have you ever heard the phrase God will never abandon you or forsake you. The reason for that is that God is loyal to you. The questions is not is God on my side. Bu the questions is are we on God’s side.
Are you loyal to God. Are you running in His race or are you finding your own race, your own path.
I am God of my life. Yes I am speaking to men who have been Christians for a while. Because for many people including some of us in this room, we tend to get complacent.
Complacent means to be pleased, especially with oneself or one’s merits.
I go to church every Thursday and Sunday both services. I go to every Prayer meeting.
I go to every men’s breakfast
I go to every outreach.
And you are happy with your achievements.
Not realizing that you have become complacent.
I really don’t pray, you don’t really read the bible.
You don’t have a close relationship with God.
But you will die for God
If you can’t pick up the word of God on a daily basis or pray as your life depends on it, then you might not be ready for the battle.

The devil does not sleep, nor is the flesh yet dead; therefore, you must never cease your preparation for battle, because on the right and on the left are enemies who never rest.

It is inherent in this state

Of blessedness, to keep ourselves within

The Divine Will, by which our wills with His

Are one. So that as we, from step to step,

Are placed throughout this kingdom, pleases all,

Even as our King, who in us plants His will;

And in His will is our tranquility.

When we are in His will, then our life falls in place. No matter what we face in life, we should have the peace that surpasses all understanding.
We are perfect in His will, we are perfect in His righteousness.
I challenge the youth. I tell them. I want you to go home and find evidence in your life to support your christian life. Is there any evidence.
Romans 7:4 “Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.”
What kind of fruit are you bringing to God.
The fruit of the Spirit is
Galatians 5:16-26 “This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envying, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us n…”
