Ladies and gentlemen, family and friends, we gather here today to celebrate and witness a truly remarkable occasion.
Would you join me in praying over Larry and Sherry as we begin?
Father, we are thankful and in awe of the love and commitment that you have to your children.
The institution of marriage is designed to bring glory to your name and this union between Larry and Sherry has done just that.
Their love for you and one another has been a testimony for the last Fifty Years of your goodness and faithfulness.
As we are gathered today, we humbly ask that you would continue to bless their marriage, and give them many more years to cherish you and one another.
In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Larry and Sherry, after fifty years of a beautiful and enduring journey together, you have chosen to renew your wedding vows.
Today, we come together to honor the love and commitment that has sustained you throughout the years and to commemorate this significant milestone in your lives.
As we reflect on the countless memories you have shared, it is clear that your love has grown stronger with each passing day.
You have weathered storms together, cherished moments of joy, and supported one another through every triumph and challenge.
Your unwavering dedication and devotion have been an inspiration to us all.
Larry and Sherry, your journey is a testament to the power of love and the strength of a lifelong commitment.
As you stand here before us, surrounded by those who have been touched by your love, we ask that you now renew the vows you made to each other on your wedding day fifty years ago.
Larry and Sherry, please face each other and hold hands.
Larry and Sherry, today, with the same love that brought you together five decades ago, I invite you to reaffirm your commitment to one another.
Repeat after me:
Vows for Larry:
"I, Larry, take you, Sherry,
to be my beloved wife
once again.
I pledge to continue loving,
honoring, and cherishing you.
Through the joys and the sorrows,
the triumphs and the trials,
I promise to stand by your side
as your unwavering companion.
Today, I renew my vow
to love you wholeheartedly
for the rest of our days."
Vows for Sherry:
"I, Sherry, take you, Larry,
to be my beloved husband
once again.
I pledge to continue loving,
honoring, and cherishing you.
Through the joys and the sorrows,
the triumphs and the trials,
I promise to stand by your side
as your unwavering companion.
Today, I renew my vow
to love you wholeheartedly
for the rest of our days."
Larry and Sherry, your love has stood the test of time, and today, you affirm your commitment to one another once more.
May the memories you have created together continue to fill your hearts with joy, and may your love grow even stronger with each passing year.
By the power vested in me, I am honored to pronounce that you, Larry and Sherry, have renewed your wedding vows and recommitted yourselves to one another.
May your love continue to flourish, and may the years ahead be filled with endless love, laughter, and happiness.
It is my privilege to present to you, once again, as husband and wife.
You may seal this renewal of vows with a kiss.
Ladies and gentlemen, it is my great pleasure to introduce to you the couple who has taught us the true meaning of love and commitment, Larry and Sherry Evans.
