You'll know His Hands

A report revealed that a mother and father of a soldier in Afghanistan, was watching the national news and the camera revealed a severely wounded soldier being carried away on a stretcher. About a 10 second camera shot of the soldier from the chest down revealed his hands by his side. The mother looked at his hands and said to her husband, Honey, "those were our son's hands...that man on the stetcher is our son, I know it. The soldier died shortly after. The mother contacted the news agency and discovered she was right...that was her son and she recognized him by his hands.

Jesus said to "doubting Thomas" "see my hands" (John 20:27) He recognized His Lord.

When my life's work is ended and I cross the swelling tide,
