So yes, I'm from Southern California. My dad actually grew up in Alamogordo. So I used to visit there when I was a kid, sound a lot of memories, but this is the first time coming to Roswell. The so very, very very, very exciting. A lot of similarities. Back, when I was a teenager, I was actually a professional BMX rider. That's kind of what I did in my teenage years. And so the X Games on all that stuff you might see on TV. I used to do that. Kind of all I did from the time, I was able to ride a bike until my early twenties. And you do anything long enough, you're going to get good at some point and it's funny I'm on social media now and I'll get these men my age and they'll be asking me, do I? Do you still ride your BMX bike? Do you still got Johnson riding skatepark and that kind of thing. And sadly, I have to answer, no, because I kind of gave that up a while ago and actually remember the day that I broke up with my first love, my BMX bike and I remember, There was a new trick that it come out the back flip until all the pros had to learn that or else you wouldn't do good in the contest anymore. And I was in this place in my life where I kind of didn't I was so much interested in being a pro anymore but I didn't really want to quit until my friend. And I we went down to the local, the Bay, San Diego Bay. And so back then if you wanted to try something that you were, pretty sure you were going to crash on. You would take a big ramp and put it right in front of a large, body of water, to a lake, or a bag or swimming pool. And you would just go so fast, you can jump into the water and the theory is, if you can land with both tires in the right way before you hit the water, then it's probably going to go. Well, when you try it on when we took down to the bay and I just remember pedaling as fast as I could, and hitting the ramp and starting the rotation, everything starting to go well, But then I got right about in the middle and I just got stuck. So now I'm going to the going down just completely upside down. Have you ever seen one of those belly flop contest? You know, where the guys just go as hard as they can't lie to the world's biggest back flop and then the by could Forest lands on top of you as you pause for a second. I just remember trying to get back to Shore and pain. Might my front is pale why my back is beet-red and just going back to the store and just thinking man I'm done with this stuff. And I think it's some things are good to quit, you know, a lot of things aren't so good to quit, you know, as we go around evangelizing and in meeting people on the street I talk to a lot of people who used to go to church or the used to be in Ministry. I made a lot of people who claim to be Christians But they don't go to church anymore and I think even being at church, it's really possible to be involved in Ministry in some way or even in some kind of good relationship that you're going in and then some hardship comes up easier just to stop. And I think of all the things that we do in our Christian Life, I think of Angela's and it's probably one of the easiest things to just quit. Or to even just not get started because it's just difficult sometimes, very difficult as a Ministry and so often will get emailed and one of the emails and they've been sitting in my drawer for 5 years and I just can't get myself to give him out or I don't give him out anymore and so I think it's a very common thing. And so today what I wanted to do is I just wanted to look at some of the reasons that We don't evangelize or or stop evangelizing. And what it is that the Bible says about how how we can change that, how we can become people who have evangelism. Just as part of the normal part of our Christian walk though, What God, I just thank you so much for the opportunity to just look at your word and more importantly, look at your heart. As to what you say about evangelism, what you would have its do when it comes to reaching out to the lot. We just thank you and ask these things in Jesus name. Amen. Amen look look it up will start off looking at Matthew 28 verse 18.

This is a section of scripture known as the Great Commission and if you're ever doing a mission trip or you're involved in some kind of cross-cultural church,

The first one.

Matthew 28:18 in Jesus came up and spoke to them saying all authority has been given to me in heaven and on Earth go therefore and Make Disciples of all the nations baptizing them in the name of the father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that. I commanded you and lo I Am With. You Always even to the end of the age. Making disciples begin with preaching the gospel. It's just, it's just part of it and it's easy as Christians to focus on the disciple-making part. Meaning, once Christians are easy to focus on them cuz they can tend to be nicer, you know, and it could tend to be not as awkward, but we just need to remember that. Making disciples begins with preaching the gospel and this is part of normal Christianity, in the New Testament. This is just kind of what the church did and Acts 1:8, but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you shall be my Witnesses, both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria. And even the remotest part of the year. At this was the reason, the Holy Spirit came upon these. People immediately is it you will be my Witnesses acts 542. You're kind of a description of this, what? The Christians did it with their time, and every day in the temple. And from house to house, they kept right on teaching and preaching Jesus's. As the Christ, this is part of their lifestyle. And in the last few years, of course, we've seen this world change in a whole lot of ways. And as Society, ramps, And kind of comes against Christians in a very visible way. You know what, we're just finishing up or we just finished up what it's called pride month and it's it's a government and media and Target stores and everyone else if their promotion of something that's clearly. And with that, just comes the mindset.

Against me.

Kind of a press. And you think about the early Christians? They live. Oppression was fearsome, persecution was fierce and in spite of that, it's in the end of their message and ask 83 talking about the early Christians being persecuted again. Ravaging the church entering house after house dragging off, men and women. He would put them in prison and you think man that would be hard. What would I do in that case? It would be very easy to just go hide or go do something. But not the early Christians verse for there, for those who have been scattered went about preaching, the word that was what they did. That was their reaction, they didn't didn't go hide, they didn't want to get killed obviously, but they just kept preaching the word. It's what they did. Nothing. Stop these people from preaching, the gospel. They just did it. Regardless of The cost. We've heard the term ambassadors for Christ. We're ambassadors for Christ and that's in 2nd Corinthians. 5:18 I want to look at that. Passage 2nd Corinthians 5:18 means and its contact. 2nd Corinthians, 5:18 know, all these things are from God, who reconciled us to himself to Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation. Namely, the God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them and he is committed to us the word of reconciliation. Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ is our God for making an appeal to us. We beg you on behalf of Christ. Be reconciled to God. So to be an ambassador of Christ means that you are involved in the ministry of reconciliation. In other words, reaching out to the loss, and giving them.

To their creator. Every once in awhile you'll ask a question her or Pastor will get this question. A lot is I'm trying to figure out my Ministry. I don't know what my Ministry is. Well I'll tell you one Minister you have it's right here, it's the ministry of reconciliation. That's a Ministry that all of us are to be involved in. Okay? That's that's one of the things we were to be doing is Christian.

Now you say you you hear some of these verses music while I guess it's now because it's just something that we are supposed to be doing and it's funny, I have met guys who evangelize go out on the street simply out of obedient. But I remember one time, my wife and I were sitting on a park bench down in Old Town Murrieta, which is near where we live in Southern California, and we're just sitting there kind of enjoying our dates and this young couple comes up to us. And they had me a gospel track and it start with a thing to me. And it's not a cult and I'm so excited cuz it never happens to me. I'm always the guy to me and, you know, he's going at it for a little while and after I let you know, I'm just smiling. I say you know what? Thanks so much. You're doing a great job. I'm a Christian is just want you to know that, you know, and he left out this big sigh of relief and he sits down right next to me. So now I'm sitting here and he's sitting here in the same way and I'm so glad cuz I hate doing this.

I kind of laughed and turned out in a minute. Hitting the person who was with what was from a local Bible College and it was an assignment, and we have to go out and witness and he just didn't want to do it, until I had that attitude was, but it was, it was kind of funny, it was kind of funny and, you know, that's not all it is, you know, we are to evangelize as a reaction to the love that God has for us is not only active. It's an act of love, that's why we do it. It's an act of Love 1st Corinthians 13:13 but now faith hope love abide in these three, but the greatest of these is love. Love to just be what we are as Christians, what were known by It should be what we do love is the fruit of the spirit, the fruit of the spirit. And if we are walking in the spirit, love is just part of what comes out of us and evangelism is is just a way that we shall love for the Lost. What greater things could we do than to give someone the message of eternal life, there's nothing greater. We could do. I've been involved in all kinds of mission trips. All kinds of different parts of the world for the last 30 years or so. And I've been on mission trip sadly, where we give a whole lot of food, and we give a whole lot of medical relief and no one ever hears the gospel and it's easy to get caught up and doing stuff like that. Even here in town, it's easier to give something to a homeless person. The good thing to do, we should be kind. And yeah, if our kindness, if our ministry of our Outreach, doesn't include the gospel. Then something that should be a big part of what we do it the way we show love Mark. 12:29 says we need to love our neighbor as ourselves. This is all basic bible stuff And yeah, it's really easy to get into a mindset where we love our church really well. Because potlucks are really fun and really easy to be involved in it and we should, we absolutely should love our Christian brothers and sisters, very easy to do that. And yeah, it's possible to develop a mindset where we think we should love our neighbors or our Christian neighbors, but not so much the unbelievers around. I've even met people who kind of think as part of their theology that it's okay to not love the Lost kind of a Going down the road of of their own logic, you know, my Christian brothers and sisters. As part of the family of God, these other people, they're not part of the family. Therefore, I need to let these people in these people don't really matter. And yet God, God's word speaks totally against that Matthew 5:43. You've heard it with that. You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy. But I said, you love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, why? So that you may be sons of your father who is in heaven before he causes thunder, rise on the evil and the good and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous are going to hell.

And instead of getting caught up all caught up in our Theology of who's going to hell and who's not to love the law, we just need to love our enemies regardless of where we think they're going to end. Because that's the best news in the world. And yet, it's so easy to withhold it. What we think of a doctor who found the cure to cancer and didn't tell anybody about it. Don't be pretty cruel. And yet, we have something so much greater than the truth. Cure to cancer, we have God's cure percent. We have God's remedy and yet it's so easy for us to get in this place where we just don't give it out. And and I and I totally understand all the reasons, you know, I would I was raised in a very Catholic Family. My mom was a Eucharistic minister to take communion to people who were sick or couldn't come to church. And then the Catholic Church, they regard that communion as the literal physical body of Jesus. That means you can't drop it.

And so she was gone to classes. She was involved in all kinds of Catholic Church work and so when her son became In Her Eyes, the Prada

I, Awkward conversations at one thing, that was kind of funny. I start going to Christian church and my mom had all these catholic books on the shelf and then there was one big black leather Bible. And I said, Mom, what's this one? And she said that's the King James James version. It doesn't have everything in it, but it's still pretty good right now. The Apocrypha in it. She was pretty upset and I remember one morning being around our kitchen table and we're just, you know, talking about this stuff. And I asked her mom, when you were reading the Bible, did read the Bible, she read that thing. She have notes in it but she read it from a Catholic perspective. I asked when you're reading the Bible and you see something that very clearly goes against Catholic teaching, cuz there's a lot of stuff like that. What do you do? And my mom just started crying and I think it was the first time she realized my son is gone and he's not coming back to the Catholic church and its over. I think that that really was just kind of a turning point and my dad came storming in the room cuz he heard my mom cried and he looked at me he said you will never talk about this stuff again. and that began years of just, Some conflict and separation, my parents did, and they were there with a very weren't, very vocal. So it's not like they said, bad things and they were very, actually, very loving, wonderful parents, but did you call and you know, it just caused years and years of of Separation and I'm sure some of you. And this really the experienced, something similar weather with family or friends or, or things like that, and it's not always easy to stand up for Christ until you have these experiences. And it kind of puts you in this mindset of just thinking, man, it is so much easier. Just not to talk about this stuff, whether it be at school or work or whatever. So I understand that it is a hard thing. A lot of Christians kind of hide behind the excuse that they're not gifted with what they call the gift of evangelism. Evangelism isn't my gift, it's for the Evangelist guy and they get that thought from Ephesians 4 verse 11 and 12. Ephesians 4 verse 11 and 12 which says and he gave some Apostles and some is prophets and some is evangelist and some as pastors and teachers for the equipping of the Saints, for the work of service to the building up of the body of Christ until the thought is Since God hasn't made me an evangelist, that's God. Hasn't made me a pastor. I don't need to do Pastor stuff, I don't need to evangelist stuff. And if it was only the first 11 that might work. But look at verse 12. It says the reason, the Evangelist and the pastures were given is for the equipping of the Saints. That's you for the work of service. In other words, the gifted evangelist guys like Ray's Comfort. The gifted pastors, they teach you and then you do the ministry but it's Evangeline Zamora teaching. I have four four Sons

I never read my kids to Bible. I don't play with them. I definitely don't discipline them cuz I'm not a pastor. That's not my job, I'm not gifted as a pastor. Therefore I don't you understand that's not how it works. Like I have a responsibility to be teaching and training my kids and in the same way we all have a responsibility to be reaching out to the lost in some way. It's part of of what we should be doing. The Reason God has given gifted evangelist to the church is, so they can do the work of service and You know, again we all know this stuff but it still doesn't make it any easier. Sometimes still doesn't make it any easier and I believe simply we just struggle with the fear of, man. The fear of man. Let's look at John 12:42.

The fear of man. Saint John 12. Jesus is in the middle of his ministry. He's healing people, he's doing different things and then these verses show the reaction of some of the, the the people who are watching it. John 12, 42 never the last many even of the rulers believed in him, but because of the Pharisees, they were not confessing him for fear, that they would be put out the synagogue for they loved the approval of men rather than the approval of God. The King James version put that they love the praise of men rather than the praise of God. They wouldn't confess them, they believe that but they wouldn't take the next step. They wouldn't confess it so they didn't want to be put out of the synagogue. And so my question to you is what is it that you fear being put out of Is it you are Social Circle? Is it your family? What is it? That just makes it. So you just don't go the extra step and talk about price to be. What is it that you fear being put out of

You know, I was saved in 1992 and it wasn't until 2008 that I started talking to people about Jesus, I just wouldn't do it. Because all the same reason that all of us, struggle, it just it's awkward. I'm afraid, I don't know what to say. The sky is a Mormon, I don't know much about the Mormon church. All these different things that we give us an hour and all these years pass by, and it wasn't until I repented. So, so, very briefly might my story. My within being a Christian, testimony of how I began being a crazy guy who stand on the street and preach the gospel of people at alien Fest. I was in a different place where I was, I was just afraid and then just kind of out of nowhere. I had, I went through about a year of being convicted that I wasn't doing any kind of event. I'm actually worked as a video producer for a couple different big Christian Ministries. Billy Graham organization, Greg Laurie and all these guys to go around and do these big Crusade and stadium. So I was like why people would come down at the altar call and there's me with my camera going, why did you come down here? And they would, you know, I was always going after the tears that made that was that was the best. But I would just interview these people. If I was around Mass Crusade evangelism a lot But I myself would never evangelize any part of this big Crusade thousand gets a, then I go to Starbucks and I want a witness to the person, and I don't say anything. I don't even say God bless you at this point, and I went through a year just being really convicted of this family. And then I came across these videos of this little funny guy from New Zealand named Ray comfort and started watching him. And, you know, if you go to Living Waters, you can watch thousands of hours. Now of Ray and other people, just witness things to people on the street. So I started watching that a lot and just really got interested and I saw that they were advertising this thing called the ambassadors Academy, which is afford a seminar where they teach you, and then they take you out on the street and places like Hollywood Boulevard, or Huntington Beach, or Santa Monica crazy people, California, the worst kind of people. And so I signed up for this thing and I just remember going through all the classes and learning all the Bible verses about a 10 for the most part, it's stuff we already know if you know enough to be a Christian then you know, enough to explain the gospel to someone else for the most part. It was a lot of stuff, I already knew, and I just remember being on the bus for the going from the classroom to Hollywood Boulevard. So we're about to go to a place. It's kind of known in La at least was being dirty and a lot of crime. And I just not a good place to hang out and we're going there. And I'm supposed to stay out and preach the gospel to people. I don't even talk to people about this stuff and so I go, I go to this.

And on the way to the, on the way there, on the bus, I just remember being in that chair. And yes. Asking God to forgive me for.

Keeping my mouth shut for so many years. Realizing. I just been down by the fear of man, I just been disobedient and I just remember how freeing it felt just to do that. And then getting out onto the street and my leader saying, okay, it's your turn, I'm like great and so I get up on the box and I just remember, it was the most free. Most, I don't know. Comfortable place to be. It was, it was, it was, it was just really thought I had taught Sunday School classes in different thing with in church and I really felt no different. It was just I was talking to someone and I was no longer in a setting like this. It was just on a dirty Street somewhere. It freed me, he'd help me get through that, fear of, man and it in for me it was a disobedient issue and ever since then, I've been, you know, by God's grace been going out. Some Street Corner Stone Street or some alien Festival somewhere and just preaching the gospel to people around us. Then we're actually going to be doing that this afternoon if you want to come and watch. What's going to happen to that guy, you know but it's it's it's fun stuff up for me it definitely was a Disobedience issue and the Lord really got me past that you know, if he's in 320 now to him, who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we can ask or think according to the power that works within us and that's the issue. So many people look at it and I'm not a brave person. I'm not a courageous person depending on our Flash.

That's so much of this is stuff. We already know you think of the full armor of God in Ephesians stick in the Lord. And in the strength of his might we not to be strong in our self. We're not to be strong in the strength of our mine, even our own apologetic knowledge. That could be a trap. I love apologetics. You know you all definitely need to go to this creation seminar happening next week of those are amazing and yet it's possible to hide behind the excuse of why? I don't know enough, I'll talk to this guy is going to ask me a question about Evolution and I'm just not going to know what to say. And yet God doesn't call us to answer, everybody has to preach the gospel. If you go out and begin to engage with people, you're going to learn very quickly that it's going to be a very motivating factor for you to be in the world and studying your Bible, you know? I mean it's it's just going to be a motivation that is. Sometimes it go through seasons in her Christian walk where we just kind of dry and it's like, I'm not really get anything out of Bible study. If you begin engaging, with the loss, you will be forced to be in the word and you will be forced to just know stuff cuz I was no longer something that you do for yourself. You're literally preparing yourself to give the Word of Life to someone who you engage with. This is such a motivating thing.

And we need to depend on the Holy Spirit. You know, the Holy Spirit was given to the church to empower of a Empower. I think sometimes there can be such as an emphasis on The weird stuff that we see some Church's teaching about the Holy Spirit, you know. And yeah, just a basic teaching of scripture is that the Holy Spirit. Empowers the believer, again, Acts chapter 1 a, but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you shall be my Witnesses. Both in Jerusalem and all Judea, and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the Earth. If you're a Christian, the holy spirit is in, you, you don't need to get re-baptized in the Holy Spirit. He's he's in you Romans 8:9. It says, however, you are not in the flesh, but in the spirit, the spirit of God. But if anyone does not have the spirit of Christ, he does not belong to him. In other words, you're either a Christian and you have the spirit in you or you're not a Christian. It's not. It's not that you can be a Christian and the spirit is not in you. First Corinthians 3:16, do you not know that you are a temple of God and of the Holy Spirit dwells in you? I think part of the reason you have a desire to evangelize, even if you're scared is cuz the holy spirit is in you and he wants to get out, he wants to get to the people you're around. He wants to give you the desire to just reach the lot. That's part of Christ in you the hope of glory. Romans 8:14 for all who are being led by the spirit of God. These are the sons of God and when it comes to the issue of slavery, or I'm sorry, fear, when it comes to the issue of fear. Romans 8:15, for you have not received a few of the spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received the spirit of adoption as Sun by which we cry out Abba, Father, the holy spirit is with us, we have nothing to fear, we really don't.

We get so caught up in our own fear and yet the enemy uses that just to Twist reality. Cuz in reality, the Lost are the ones who have a lot to fear. Matthew 10:28 do not fear Those Who Kill the body, but are unable to kill the soul, but rather fear Him, who is able to destroy both soul and Body in hell. when you're talking to that, Big gang member with tattoos all over him super intimidating, or when you're talking to your little aunt at Thanksgiving, super intimidating, whatever it is. We need to. Remember, we're not the ones who should be afraid, they are, you have nothing to fear, you know, instead of fear of man, we should fear for, man, we should fear for their fate. We should fear for their Destiny. This is one of the things that would would motivate us to reach out. To the law. And yeah.

We continue to. Not reach out, you know, and I edited a bunch of reasons for that, you know. I think it really just comes down to not knowing what to do. You know, when I was a little kid, I was riding my bike around my neighborhood. And I came across this huge fire in a canyon and what cooler thing for a little kid to see if I remember rolling up to it and there's a canyon and there's smoke.

And these guys get out, they put on their suits and they just like walk down into the canyon and I'm sitting there looking at him with my handlebars, what's going to happen and these guys just go right down into smoke and smoke kind of doubt and I don't see him anymore and it was the coolest thing I've ever seen in my life at that point is awesome. Now I would never run into something that's burning but it's a canyon or a house or anything. I, I just don't do that because firefighters have three things that I don't have, right? They have the gear, they have the training and they have the experience. I don't have any of those things. I'm fine with, allowing the firefighter to do that. Do that job? You think about that? The same is true of us as Christians. A lot of times, we back out of these opportunities cuz we don't have think we don't have the gear. You don't have the training and experience, you might think of a firefighter. His gear is a helmet. Got a Xanax. Is that his suit as a Christian. What's our gear, write our feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. We have the helmet of salvation. We have a sword of the spirit, all these things that you naturally get just to reading your Bible. And and being part of a Christian Fellowship, this is your gear. I'm an experienced know if I was sitting in front of a burning house with a helmet and suit an axe, I still wouldn't go into that house cuz I wouldn't know what to do. Once I got in there, I don't have any experience and as a Christian

Training that we can we can get. So you know, whether it's a Living Waters website, or going out with someone else who does evangelism and just watching them, there's so many ways available where we can get training. The training. Is there the gears that? I think what we lacked the most is Xperia. We're just not experienced in it. What if your house was on fire and you're out of your house and then you realize your three-year-old. Child is in the house and These two fireman roll up to your house and one of them is going to go in there, one of them is 20 years old. He looks like he's been doing CrossFit since he was three very fit. Got a brand new firefighter suit, and helmet is shiny his ass. It still has a plastic on its thing. If it's brand new Any standing there next to him, there's an older guy. He's in his fifties and he just got the dirtiest suit. His ass is burnt. His helmet has a bunch of things on it, which one of you guys do you want to go into your house and save your kid? You want the guy with the experience to go in there in your neighborhood?

experience is so important and yeah, it's also by the scariest thing, you know, and in the same is true, with the vandalism, We keep ourselves from the from Gaining skill, or Comfort, being comfortable, with the dance move, cuz because we don't put ourselves into those awkward situations. And it's, it's, it's a very important part of that. We need to allow ourselves to fail me to the lower ourselves to mess up and feel awkward and experience fear and just press through it. I have a friend says, go into all the world and make mistake and allow yourself to be humble and just get to and gain that experience. And it's some point before, you know, it, we'll be using you to reach the law. We need to step out in faith. Vandalism is an Act of Faith. We're saved by faith. We walk by faith, we live by live life. The evangelism is simply an Act of Faith. That's what it is.

No, the end of my parents life. I hadn't talked to them for Many years, on the area of religion of any kind, we had a good relationship. You know, that communication was there, but just as far as a religious stuff goes, Didn't happen. Meanwhile I've been just engaged in evangelism with all kinds of different people for years and then I got my chance to talk to them and by that time because of the experience, I've had an end training, I was very ready and my parents each. Died a few years ago and on their deathbed, each one of them separately. I had the chance to talk with them and explain the difference between Catholic teaching and salvation by faith and both of them on their deathbed receive Christ. And both of them literally received price and in eternity a couple days later and I thank God that he just gave me that gift of being able to see that and We have family and friends that need to hear the gospel. And so so if anything I would just encourage you just to do whatever it takes. Whatever it takes, just to allow yourself to be used by God, to preach the gospel to the Lost. We are, we are not ashamed of the gospel of Christ. It is the power of God, salvation for everyone who believes,

Forgot. I just thank you so much for your grace and your forgiving us the opportunity to come alongside and be used by you and your Great Commission whether it be across the world or across the street. I ask that you would help us to trust you and and just allow your Holy Spirit to shape us into the people. You want us to be regularly reaching out to the lost in this lost and Dying World. We just thank you and love you, and have all these things in Jesus name. Amen.

Much for being with us this morning and bringing us the word and encouraging us and exhorting Us in this way. And I would say a person

I'm so affected and helped by the reminder that we are to do. We have to share the good news of the Gospel. Ultimately out of love. We are motivated as Believers out of the love that God has first shown us. And in through Christ, there was one quote, I heard by another Pastor years ago, who said something to the effect, If we know who Jesus is and what he's done for us, we're going to want to tell other people. as we see and understand in other words,

the grace of God in the love of God toward us as in through Christ. We ourselves will be moved and motivated by love. At this point, our service we're going to partake of the Lord's supper and I'm going to ask a couple of the men from the church to come forward and help serve the Lord supper and we do the best. For those of you who don't know, we partake of the Lord's Supper because Jesus on the night, he was betrayed took a, did a meal like this, with the bread and the wine with his disciples and he told his disciples, and by extension his disciples, all throughout the Angels ages, do this. In remembrance of me to take the bread and the juice in remembrance of his broken body.

Which he laid down on the cross for us and to do it in remembrance of his shed blood which he poured out for us. and it's, as we look at these elements as we receive these elements which represent Christ broken body and blood. We are reminded of in a small way of the love of God towards Sinners Like Us in Christ, the lord supper. Now, my hope and prayer is that you would be reminded of the one who first loved us is that he was preaching and address that of John. The apostles words, in first John chapter 4, Here's what he wrote. Under the inspiration of the spirit, the Apostle John rights and 1st. John 4:9 in this. The love of God was made manifest Among Us. That God sent his only son into the world so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his son to be the propitiation for our sins. Your friends up the good news. I'll spoil the good news of the Gospel is that God loved the unlovely by sending his own son to Bear, the just judgment for their sins on the cross. That they might be reconciled to him forgiven of their sins and made right in his sight, declared right in his sight, not by their own, obedience or righteousness, but on the basis of the perfect obedience, and righteousness of Christ, and on the basis of his perfect sacrifice, that's the good news of the Gospel price came and lived and died of Road and rose again to Bear the penalty for our sin, that we might be reconciled to God through him.
