Paul has shared with us, to this point, our need because of sin, and that we can only overcome this need through faith rather than works, also justification is the means through which our need is overcome as a gift of God through His Son, and finally, that this blessing comes with many wondrous benefits. Paul now delves deeper into the means through which Christ has made this justification available to us.
