Introduction
My brothers and sisters many of us are familiar with the Character in the Bible.
And we often relate Job to his problems.
We oftentimes relate job to his troubles. However, can I suggest to you today that we are all no different than Job. I believe we all would agree that we all have problems. We have difficulties, we all have issues that we we will face while on this earth.
As a matter of fact the Bible says that a man that is born of a woman is full of trouble
My brothers and sisters although we do look at the trials Job face we must also understand that through all he went through he prevailed , endured and stayed faithful to God until God until God restored him back to his rightful place.
How we relate to the book of Job is also how relate to our own life experiences. Why some may ask, because we have a way of magnifying the bad and minimizing the Good.
I came to encourage you that no matter what you go through, there is always an after.
I come to encourage you that trials today can easily become your testimony tommorow.
The other day as I was strolling to my instagram account I follow some workout trainers, and the trainers and a good trainer who is proud of his work always posts before and after pictures.
The before pictures , the person has some extra baggage, the before picture the person stomach may hang some.
But the person goes through a training process. The person sweats, the person goes through an intense workout, The individual does some cardio, and after a few months we get the aftershock.
The same person that was weighted down with extra baggage posts an after picture.
In the after picture, the same person now has some muscles, In the after picture the person has a six pack, has some biceps, triceps shoulders are toned up.
A good trainer understands that the After look much better than before.
I came to encourage someone that your after is going to be better than before, However you must get through the pain of working out.
Your results depends on the amount of training you get through.
If you can endure the pain, you can get to your purpose.
The bible is full of references to the after affect
Psalms 30 lets us know that After weeping is Joy,
Galatians 6:9 lets us know that after weary is reaping.
Isaiah 61:3 lets us know that after ASHES is Beauty
Psalms 126:5-6 lets us know that after sowing in tears you shall reap in JOY.
I came to encourage you that you have to go through this to get to that.
What you are going through now is necessary for you to get to where God is taking you to.
I come to encourage you that no matter how hopeless it is now. There is always an AFTER.
No matter matter how hurtful it is now, there is always an after.
A few months ago a young man by the name of Dallas hamington was participating in a football game.
In the duration of the game the young man fell and hit his head on the field. Most people may have thought it was a minor injury. However as time ran on and the paramedics came in the field, some noted that the athlete was actually dead on the scene.
After many hours and and days the world and social media went to an uproar about the situations: People begin to the pray that ain't never prayed before. After a few weeks it was declared that that Demar was was released from the hospital and that. He decreed and declared that he was grateful for life and promised that he would not take life for granted and he will continue to “Live after this.
It was Joseph who only had a dream, purpose and call on his life. However when he told his brothers his dream, he was through in the pit, by his brothers, betrayed and and counted out, However, if wed the entire story in Genesis we find that Joseph life after the pit was greater than his life before the pit….He did not let the being thrown in the pit stop him from living.
He decided to Live after the pit
Jesus Himself had to endure many trials as well as persecution while completing and walking in his God given purpose, We know the story he was buked scorned, he was often faced opposition and rejection from religious leaders and authorities, He faced Betrayal by one of his closest disciples Judas, with thirty pieces of silver. He was arrested and put on trial before Pilot, and roman governor of Judea.
He endured the cruxifixction. He Wass nailed to a cross and crucified at Golgotha, He died on the cross and was buried in a borrowed tomb….However in all that he went through he stayed in the grave for two days however in three days he Got up with all power in his hands and LIVED again.
I don’t know what your THIS is but I came to encourage you that you live after it.
We know the story of David and how he lost his wives, children and cattle, He wept, However that is not the end of story, he eventually encouraged himself, in the Lord patted himself on the back and inquired of the Lord if he should pursue. The Lord said pursue and you shall recover it all, in lost all he had but recovered all and lived after the Lost.
I came to encourage those who like David has taken some losses in Silence and Say your losses may have been silent but your win is about to be LOUD”””
My brothers and sisters God uses some loses to prove that he is the God of redemption.
If I would have never been Sick, I wouldn’t know God to be a healer. If I wouldn’t have never been broken, I wouldn’t know God to fix me. If I would have never been broke I wouldn’t know God to be a provider.
“As a matter of fact what you thought was a lost was really a Lesson”
“Triumph occurs after trials”
My brothers and sisters your life in its totality is a combination of wins and losses.
We can not avoid trials, we can not avoid loses
You can experience lost and still be a winner.
Do I have any one can say that my losses don’t define me.
I came to encourage you. That you have lost some people. Love loss some Jobs.
You have lost some relationships.
However you're gonna be a winner in the end.
You can not allow yourself to dwell on the unfortunate situations that has occurred in your life to define you.
Your purpose is bigger than your problems.
Your significance is greater than your shortcomings.
Context
Job
We find in the beginning of Job,
A man of integrity Statues and honor.
He fears the Lord and shined evil.
He Had seven Sontsthree daughters,
Seven thousand sheep and goats, Three thousand camels, five hundred your of oxen, five hundred female donkeys and large number of employees and servants working for him. the Bible said that he was greatest man among all of the people of the east.
And we find something interesting happening between Job 1 and 1 and Job 1 and 13.
Some may ask what happened.
Well a conversation was had. A conversation between God and Satan,
God asked Satan where have he been. Satan says I have been going to and fro on the earth seeking whom I may devour.
And Job was given a reference by God God asked Satan, Have you considered my servant Job.
My brothers and sisters isn’t it wonderful when God compliments you.
God gave Job a compliment.
I came to encourage you that we have to worry less about what people have to say about us but consider what God has to say.
What did have to say about Job? He says There is non like him in earth, a perfect and upright ma. One that feareth God and Shons evil.
Satan response was and that the only reason that Job holds his integrity is because everything is going well in his life, because he is spoiled.
He responds and I “papraphrase this”that if a trial comes that Job will curse God to his face.
God gave Job permission to touch everything that he had.
In an instance. His cattle was gone.
His Children were Gone.
Everyone had left out of Job life but his wife and a few friends, and even they couldn’t lift him up as a matter of fact his wife said curse God.
It Got so bad that Job himself
Made statements as this:
IF misery could be wished, IF youd pile the whole bitter load on the scales it be heavier than all the sand of the sea its any wonder that Im’m howling like a caged
He described his suffering as Hard Labor,
Im given a life that menders and goes no where,
He says thing that he don’t like his life In Job 10th Chapter
In Job 10:18 He questions the day he was born.
In Job 29 1 Job reminisce about the good times saying how I miss the Good days when God took care of me.
God does not speak from the time he speaks to Satan in the 1st verse until 38th Chapter of Job. God is silent for 37chapters.
Have anyone every experience a season of your life when It seems like God is Silent.
However after many Laments and complaints to God in Job 38th Chapter God finally answers Job:
He says to Job Get yourself together,
Where were you when I created the earth
I’m the God that created the ocean, You see the clouds in the sky? I created that. God says I poured out the foundation of the earth Im the God that created light, and Darness,
Im the God that gave weather wisdom to the ibis,
Job answers and says I’m ready to listen,
Job response was to worship God and ask for permission for all of his laments and complaints.
He tells Job friends Eliphaz and Temanite to take seven bulls and seven rams and go to my friend job sacrifice a burnt offering on you own behalf, and allow job to pray for you and I will accept his prayer. And Eliphaz and Tmenite did what the Lord said do,
And God accepted Job prayer
After Job interceded for his friends in Job 10-11
Then God accepted his prayer…
It wasn’t until Job prayed for his friends that God restored…
Sometimes God will wait until you pray for someone else to bless you with what’s do to you….

The text Says Job 42:12-15
That God Blessed Job’s Later life even more than his earlier life. God blessed Job AFTER the trial then he did before. Before Job had Seven thousand sheep and goats, after Job had 14 thousand Before Job had 500 oxen after Job had 1000 oxen.
He did not give up during the tough times of his life. As the saying goes “ Tough times don’t last, However tough people do.”
The Bible says that God blessed Job with a long life, and he died satisfied.
I’m not sure what you went through or going through but your not going go die in it. Your going to live after this.
DONT judge the first part of your life by the last part of your life.
Because God has a way of redeeming you. The Bible says that he will restore to you the years that locus and cankerworm stole.
Is there anyone in her that can say I want everything back the enemy stole.
I came to encourage you that whatever it is that you lost God getting ready to restore it back The afterShock is about to hit you life.
Some of us have lost our peace, but After this your getting your peace back.
Some of us have lost our joy but after this your getting your joy back.
Some of us have lost our anointing but after this you are getting your anointing back.
Look at somebody and say AFTER, AFTER, AFTER,
You may have suffered but the Bible says in 1st Peter 5:10 says AFTER you have suffered a while you shall reign with him.
There is a blessing in what comes AFTER,
It was After the woman with the issue of Blood waited 12 years that she was healed.
It was AFTER Zachues climbed up on a sycamore to see Jesus that he was saved and delivered.
It was AFTER blind Bartamues yelled out Jesus thy Son of David have mercy on me that he was given his sight.
It was AFTER abraham and Sarah waited 90 or so years to conceive that they Gave birth to Isaac.
Tell somebody there is a blessing After this.
It was AFTER 40 years that the children of Israel went into the promise Land.
It was AFTER Laurus was dead and buried that Jesus shows up and raises him up.
It was After Jonah was spit up by a whale, that he went and walked in his call.
It was after Paul and Silus Prayed and midnight their chains and breakthrough were loosed.
There is a blessing After this.
There is Deliverance after this.
There is breakthrough after this.
There is Power after this.
There more after this.
That’s not all that had an aftershock.
It was After Jesus was mocked and mourned that they put him on the cross.
It was AFTER they put put him on the cross that they nailed his hands.
IT was after they nailed his hand that they put a crowed of thorns on his head.
IT was after they put a crown of thorns on his head they stoned him.
After he suffered excruciating Pain that he Gave up the Ghost.
After he gave up the Ghost they took him to Joseph’s borrowed tomb.
After one day he stayed there. After two days he stayed there.
However AFTER he had STayed two days Early the third Day morning he got up with all power in his hands.
Alter Call. There maybe one That Don’t know Jesus as your personal savior. AFTER you accept Jesus as your personal savior he is able to change your life.
If you are already Saved Maybe there are those that just want prayer and say I’m praying that God gives the strengths to through what Im going through now so I can get my AFTERSHOCK
Prayer—-
Open up the doors of the Church: Maybe there is one that don’t have a church home. AS many of you know We are a Growing church. We have adopted the theme “ Graced to Grow while Growing in Grace”
We invite you on this journey of Grace. We are a bible believing church. We offer you a Place at Grace. No matter what we do where we Go you will always have a place at Grace.
If that is you we are asking you to come:
We say Thank you to you all for what you done and what you are doing for this Body of Christ. I’m so glad to say that We are a growing church. We just don’t want to grow by the number of people that is in the seats. We want to grow in our personal life, We want you to grow in your spiritual life. I’ve learned that a part of Growing spiritually is sowing and giving. Many people don’t believe me but I’m going to say this. When God first gave me this vision. I took my last 2,000 and say God I’m going to sow in into this ministry this was months ago. Guess what my seed is producing the AFTER which is now.
I don’t know what you been praying for However, today I;m asking you to sow not only your own AFTER. However we are asking that you SOW into the AfTER of this ministry. WE Need your seed.
The Book of Wisdon says in Proverbs 3:9
Honor God with everything you own;
give him the first and the best.
I know there is a debate going on around about tithe. My brothers and sisters. I don’t get in the debate about tithing. I don’t think you can go to Hell for not paying your tithes. However, I think you can deny your Blessings by not paying your tithes.
The bible says God blesses a CHEERFUL Giver. I always say if you have to give it grudgely don’t give it because I want you to be blessed. I’m asking that those who can. I want us to Give our tithes and offering Cheerfully.
To those who were on the Huddle Meeting you understand that there are some items that we have to take care as of church. There were already some pledges made on the call to help us reach that Goal. Sis. Angela, and Brother Lamar, Pledged 200, I pledged 100, Minister Smith Pledged 100. Im asking today if everyone here can help us with a pledge of 100 dollars, 50 dollars are 20 dollars.
