Intro: I am around a lot o people. A lot of them go to church, but, I believe most of them are not saved.
Some by their actions. Things they do. Things they say. No evidence.
If it were against the law to be a Christian.
Then there a good people, they go to church, they are involved in church. But, they have no personal relationship with Jesus.
They have been baptized. Prayed a prayer, but it wasn’t real.
Some people will stay busy doing church work elab. Because it makes them feel saved.
This verse is going to be a sad reality or many people.
Matthew 7:22–24 (NKJV)
22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
You are not save by doing good works.
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.
John 14:6 (NKJV)
6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
Signs of the lost church memeber.
Still love sin.
9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good.
Put God first.
33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
I was demoted. Elab on how being a supervisor effected me.
I a person (Church goer) is caught up in more things outside the church, that it effects their service to the Lord.
No new birth experience.
3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
Romans road.
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
10 As it is written:
“There is none righteous, no, not one;
23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
REPENT.
32 I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”
Hell:
50 and cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.”
9 These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,
John 14:1–6 (NKJV)
1 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. 4 And where I go you know, and the way you know.”
5 Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?”
6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
