“God is not a man who lies, or a son of man who changes his mind! Does He speak and then not do it, or promise and not fulfill it? Look, I received a command to bless. He has blessed—I cannot change it! No misfortune is to be seen in Jacob, and no misery in Israel! Adonai their God is with them —the King’s shout is among them! God is bringing them from Egypt with the strong horns of the wild ox! There is no sorcery effective against Jacob, nor any divination against Israel! Now it will be said of Jacob and Israel, ‘See what God has done!’ The people rise like a lioness, like a lion who does not rest until he eats his prey and drinks his victim’s blood!””
Numbers 23:19-24 TLV

Revelation is written in a similar manner -
We begin with the communities of Messiah:
We are supposed to be continuing in our journey of being made holy, because that is how we are perfected.
Many people in the body of Messiah, they like to stay stagnant. They do not want to increase in faith, because of various reasons…. Look how they see me, I do not want to be or that is too legalistic, If I do that than I am accountable to keep doing it this way, and so forth.
All of the New Testament literally asks the Gentiles and Jewish to see that if you want to worship God… You must look at the Words of God given to Moses. These Words given to us show us the blueprint to worshipping God, and these Words Begin with He is G-d there is none other, You should have no idols, Love God and Love the one that is standing next to you (neighbor).
We began with a warning to the communities of Messiah saying that the time is near and the glory of the Lord is in our midst. Do not deviate from the truth, because as we spoke last week the heavens are real, God is real, Messiah, the lamb who was slain is on the throne in heaven, and He is about to bring forth His judgment. He’s given us the Word that enable us to see and/or have the same revelation to take part in the Worship of the elders and Angelic hosts. For all will be worshipping the lamb of God who was slain and is resurrected and seated at the right hand of God.
So now, what takes place?
Revelation 3 we are left with a possible.. I will call it pre-rapture as there is a hint that the L-rd will take in an instance those who are worthy to be taken up, however, I will also stress that this pre-rapture could also simply be those that G-d takes following their death, and you will later see why. Then the word continues to the heavens to which we went over briefly last week and finally G-d brings us back to earth, and he reveals what must take place throughout the heavens and the earth.
The plagues, war, famine, pestilence, wild beasts, persecution for G-d’s Word, Earthquakes, blood moon, the falling of stars, the heavens being ripped open, and mountains and islands are moved from their places. All these events will cause people to hide wishing that their lives would end.
In revelation Chapter 7 we are given a glimpse of the 144,000 elect that God choses for Himself to be on the earth. Note that nothing can hurt the earth of the see until the elect have been marked with the seal of God. Of these 144,000 we do not see the tribe of Dan and Ephraim. In scripture, Ephraim is the one who represents Joseph, and Manasseh is distinct. But what about Dan.
Dan actually had a big problem with idolatry, they also did not claim their G-d given land and assimilated with the nations. In fact, Dan is not even mentioned in 1 Chronicles 4-7 when overviewing the tribes of Israel. If Dan is not mentioned in the Chronicles which followed the time after the judges, it would give reason to why they were not mentioned in Revelation.
So we have a possible rising of those worthy enough to be saved from tribulation, and those that are dying and are in Messiah would be lifted up into the heavens. Meanwhile, on the earth you have those who believe, but were not marked worthy, the 144,000 that are God’s elect, and the rest who do not love God. Then John is given a glimpse of the result following the great tribulation when all who believe in God and have received their white robes are gathered to worship the Lord. At the end of the great tribulation their will be only bliss in the presence of God Almighty (Revelation 7)
Revelation 8 goes back through the process of tribulation and this time we are shown that this vision exemplifies that of the 10 plagues. Hail of fire and blood was thrown and burned up 1/3 of the earth.
Then what seemed to be a mountain of fire was thrown into the sea and the the sea turned into blood. Ships were destroyed and 1/3 of all the sea creatures died. Water was made bitter, darkness took place by 1/3 of all the light being removed and 1/3 of the day & night would not shine. Darkness and Locusts came upon the earth from the smoke of the pit and all the people except for the 144,000 elect were affected by the locusts.
Then there would be a great stampede of 200 million soldiers to kill by fire, smoke, and brimstone 1/3 of the earth.
Now listen to this….
But the rest of mankind, those not killed by the plagues, did not repent and turn away from the works of their hand.
Do you remember why G-d cause the plagues to take place in Egypt?
It was so that Israel would know that He is God, and so that the nations of the World would know that He is G-d!
G-d is dealing with Pharaoh who represent the anti-messiah and those who do not believe in HaShem Eloqeinu! Those who do not repent, their tribulation would…. INCREASE!
But those who do repent, G-d will allow them to die the first, but God will not allow then to die the second death. Remember back in chapter 7:9… After These Things I looked, and a vast multitude from every nation and tribe people and tongue was standing before the throne and before the lamb dressed in white robes and palm branches in their hands crying out “Salvation belongs to our God” These the Lord said are the ones coming out of the “Great Tribulation”, washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb”.
In all, God takes the ones who were sleeping, then He takes who are worthy (pre-rapture), then He takes the ones who will die in the tribulation, and the ones that remain on earth are either the 144,000 or the the ones who have/or will not repent from their Murdering, Sorceries, Sexual Immorality, and/or their Stealing!
In all I wanted to end with what is written in the parasha.
God is not a man to lie, or a son of man who changes His mind…. some take this to say that God is not a man, but that is not what it says. It also doesn’t say that He is a man, though He did present Himself in the form of a man - likewise the son of man. We actually know that man was made in His image &/or likeness. Man was made like His Shadow. God appeared to many in the form of a man, and He came not with lies, but He came with a promise/word/covenant that the Salvation of G-d would be made known. He came as the Son of Man not to change His mind, but He came and offered Himself for us so that we might see the resurrection and the life. Yes, this means we have to put away what is corruptible and put on what is incorruptible. Those who have put on incorruptibility will rise from the dead, be lifted up with Him, and/or be taken away from the great tribulation. I tell you that God is not a man to lie nor a son of man to change His mind. All these things shall and are coming to pass. Today is the day for Salvation, today I tell you to repent from your wicked ways and turn to the L-rd who is the author and giver of life. Ask Him into your heart and believe that He is the Son of God. Rebirth, be aware that some of you have not increased in holiness, because you have been resistant to G-d’s voice. Be aware of the warning to the communities of Messiah in the beginning of Revelation. G-d will come like a thief to take His bride. Let us continue with the zeal of HaShem like Phinchas at the end of our portion who stood for the righteousness of G-d.
Today, this Shabbat before moving into our new building, in the Name of Yeshua, I put an end to the evil. L-rd G-d of Abraham Isaac and Jacob - My G-d, see that I have not forsaken your commands to esteem you as Holy before your people. Arise Oh L-rd & Let Your enemies be Scattered, and let those who hate You flee from before you!
In following Solomon’s prayer, I look towards Your Holy Sanctuary and repent and humble myself before You. Remove my sins and my faults, and forgive these/us your people. Do not judge us in Your anger rather in your righteousness and loving kindness. Prepare our hearts and minds, lead us to your promise - the promise to our fathers and the promise that has been given to us! L-rd do not deal with us according to the sins of even a single person in this room, but deal with us according to the sacrifice and shed blood of Your Son whom we have received as our L-rd and Messiah whom You have given all power and authority! Yeshua Reign over us, and Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the Kingdom, the Glory, Honor and Power Forever and Ever - Amen!
