Honoring Our Mothers for the Lord's Sake

Why should honoring our mothers captivate our attention during a worship service? The answer is thoroughly biblical, and it is found throughout the entirety of scripture. We are called to show honor to Mom as an act of worship to our God and in obedient surrender to His sovereign plan for our lives. Some have experienced motherhood; many of us have not. But each of us has had a mother. Open God’s Word with us, which calls us to live for His glory by honoring the mothers with which He blessed us.
