Is singing together a passing fad, or is the congregational voice a core expression of authentic worship? There are hundreds of songs recorded in the Bible, but the first ever recorded singing in Scripture is found in our text this Sunday. God’s people have been singing to Him from the earliest chapters of the biblical narrative—outbursts of praise in the aftermath of His work of deliverance. May we enthusiastically join in this enduring heritage in praise to our great God!
