This is the Gospel!

Today I want to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. I believe churches today are just telling people half the truth so the don't fully understand what it means to except Jesus.

For example there preachers today who want you to believe that you just have to say i want Jesus and your saved!, but that's not the truth! but don't take my word for it lets see what the word of God has to say.

*first we need to understand why we need saved.

Gen 3:6 “When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was desirable to make one wise, she took from its fruit and ate; and she gave also to her husband with her, and he ate.”

when they ate from the tree of knowledge it open there eyes to good and evil. and for Adam God told him to not eat from this tree and he was supposed to work and keep the garden and the women God created as a helper fit for him. therefore Adam act was a conscious rebellion against God! there for there sins separated them from God. this decision led to the fall of man. so we must know we are sinners separated from God.

God wants us to hold a moral standard that's why he made the 10 commandment and if you are separate from God you wont be able to live in these commandment. you will have desires that would be of this world and dark.

Mark7:20-23 “And He was saying, “That which proceeds out of the man, that is what defiles the man. “For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed the evil thoughts, fornications, thefts, murders, adulteries, deeds of coveting and wickedness, as well as deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride and foolishness. “All these evil things proceed from within and defile the man.””

so first you need to know your a sinner.

*second you need to know Jesus.

John1:1-5 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.”

He was there from the beginning and is the very breath that gave us life. the profits of the old spoke of a savor who will be born of a virgin. we also see this in Matthew.

Matthew1:23 ““Behold, the virgin shall be with child and shall bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which translated means, “God with us.””

*3rd we need to understand why Jesus came down as fully man and fully God.

John3:16-17 ““For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. “For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.”

Jesus came to give us forgiveness so we might have salvation, But God did not mess with our free will that's why it say “that whoever believes” it is a choice we must make no one can make it for you.

*4th we need to understand what Jesus had to do to give us salvation.

2Corinthians5:21“He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”

Jesus lived a sinless life so he may take our sins so we maybe free!

Jesus was beaten and crown of thorns placed on his head and beat into his skull. he was nailed to a cross through his hand and feet. as Jesus hung from the cross he yelled “Eli,Eli,Lema sabachthani? meaning My God My God why have you forsaken me?! then he took on all the sin and yelled it is finished and gave up his spirit. Jesus Died so we maybe saved.

we must believe that Jesus died on the cross for our sins.

*5th we need to understand Jesus rose from the grave.

Mark16:5-7Mark16:5-7 “Entering the tomb, they saw a young man sitting at the right, wearing a white robe; and they were amazed. And he said to them, “Do not be amazed; you are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who has been crucified. He has risen; He is not here; behold, here is the place where they laid Him. “But go, tell His disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you to Galilee; there you will see Him, just as He told you.’ ””

Jesus conquered death and took the key of hell. Jesus is alive!!

so this is what you must do.

Romans10:9-13 “that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him will not be disappointed.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him; for “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.””

But you must believe in your heart! and if you do you will be transformed to a new creation.

2Cor5:17 “Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.”

This is the Gospel! Jesus has come,Jesus has Died and Jesus has risen so we maybe free from the chains of sin! this is your moment to get right not tomorrow not later don't wait because God gave you right now. lets pray
