verses 6-11

Romans 1-4 has essentially condemned every person born as guilty before God

Truth- you were born into sin.

your nature is that of a sinner

through ch 4 and into the beginning of 5

God makes the point that you can only be justified by faith

We rejoice in the peace of God through faith in Jesus

But we also rejoice in the sufferings we endure

because it produces a strong hope in God.

now lets pick up in verses 6-9

Romans 5:6–9 ESV

For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die— but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God.
