God is not the author of making life terrible, when terrible things do happen God can use for his purposes .

we are going to see why a loving GOd allows pain and siffering in our life and how God can be truly good even in difficult times.

Ive strugggled with tsting God and asking questions.

God if you are a good God and I know you are why is pain and suffering happening?

Gods purpose in our life is to produce little christs in us.

Joy that doesnt illumaite sorrow but a joy that is sustained in sorrow.

most of us want to live in denial, we dont want to explore our soul, we dont want to feel the pain that we are feeling so we anestitize ourslef in some form and jsut pretend that GOd is enough... but only by anestitizing our pain. If we are going to meet the GOd who loves us.. he meets us right where we are. NOt where we pretend to be. He meets us where we are not where we wish we were. Can we be as honest as the Psalmist? Paul was honest...IVe been in despire, been hurting ive been in troubles . Dont pretend that your doing better then you are because

when you acknowldge the struggles that are going on in your life and u still trun to God in the middle of the deepest fear, anxiety, pain that is when you start metting God in a way that sutains you in the middle of all the struggles and not until.

Romans 8:28 How does God defikne good... it may be different then how i define good.

The good that God promises is a good that I might not get to celebrate until I get to heaven

To love GOd and to love others is the point of exisgtence and everything else health, kids, all second things. The good that GOd promises is a goodthat I might not be able to fully celebrate until heaven. BUt the first thing is to become fully alive the woman tht I am. Fully alive with the gospel.

Why Does GOd send, or allow bad things to happen

we live in a fallen world bad things happen. GOd isnt the author, when terribe things do happen there isnt anything that He cant use for his purposes.

GOd is doing something inside of you to make you the person you most long to be ( the lady with the cancer, her intamcy with Jesus) I said i wanted that level of Jesus to say I can trust Him

GOd is a loving GOd and present in times of Trouble.

Hababik a man who truted God despite his circumstances

When GOds ways make no sense do I tend to resit and run
