The Birth of Samson (Judges 13 NIV)

13 And then the People of Israel were back at it again, doing what was evil in God’s sight. God put them under the domination of the Philistines for forty years.

2-5 At that time there was a man named Manoah from Zorah from the tribe of Dan. His wife was barren and childless. The angel of God appeared to her and told her, “I know that you are barren and childless, but you’re going to become pregnant and bear a son. But take much care: Drink no wine or beer; eat nothing ritually unclean. You are, in fact, pregnant right now, carrying a son. No razor will touch his head—the boy will be God’s Nazirite from the moment of his birth. He will launch the deliverance from Philistine oppression.”

6-7 The woman went to her husband and said, “A man of God came to me. He looked like the angel of God—terror laced with glory! I didn’t ask him where he was from and he didn’t tell me his name, but he told me, ‘You’re pregnant. You’re going to give birth to a son. Don’t drink any wine or beer and eat nothing ritually unclean. The boy will be God’s Nazirite from the moment of birth to the day of his death.’”

8 Manoah prayed to God: “Master, let the man of God you sent come to us again and teach us how to raise this boy who is to be born.”

You Are The Answer

Samson is borned becuase there is need of him.

A undiscovered purpose doesn’t mean its an unestablished purpose.

You have been been praying asking God for the answers not realizing that you are the answer. What if the reason why I can’t find what I’m looking for is due to me being the new thing that GOD is talking about. The person you are looking for is YOU!

There’s a demand for YOU! This thing is bigger than you. You are the solution to a thing, and the reason you had to be created and birth is because NOBODY is like you.

There is great need of you. You’ve been called to do something that had never been done, and I’m going to go as far as to say and there was noone on earth before you that could do it.

The problem is you want God to birth something through you but you don’t want the responsibilty of learning how to raise what he has given you.

God Is The Ultimate Teacher

So now the prayer changes from “Lord send it to me” to “Lord teach me.” He is a mighty teacher.

But God he is not just my father, but he is the ulimate teacher. How do I know that because the next verse says (Judges 13:9 ) “God listened to Manoah. God’s angel came again to the woman”.

The problem is your trying to get advice from people who have not manifested what there trying to advice you on. You can’t tell me how to birth this when you over there empty. You can’t tell me how to manage millions when yur account on overdraft. Stop listening to unauthorized people.

It’s Not The Enemy It’s The Inner Me

Although Samson was God’s Nazirite he had a issue.

a. young lion came at him, roaring. The Spirit of God came on him powerfully and he ripped it open barehanded, like tearing a young goat.

b. Then the Spirit of God came powerfully on him. He went down to Ashkelon and killed thirty of their men.

c.  “We promise,” they said. “We will tie you up and surrender you to them but, believe us, we won’t kill you.” They proceeded to tie him with new ropes and led him up from the Rock.  As he approached Lehi, the Philistines came to meet him, shouting in triumph. And then the Spirit of God came on him with great power. The ropes on his arms fell apart like flax on fire; the strips of leather slipped off his hands. He spotted a fresh donkey jawbone, reached down and grabbed it, and with it killed the whole company.

Althoug he was anointed and mighty there was problem. Thr problem was not in Deliah. The problem was not in the Philestines. The problem was in his mother and it was not in his father. The problem was in his flesh.

Romans 7: 19 My lofty desires to do what is good are dashed when I do the things I want to avoid. 20 So if my behavior contradicts my desires to do good, I must conclude that it’s not my true identity doing it, but the unwelcome intruder of sin hindering me from being who I really am. 21 Through my experience of this principle, I discover that even when I want to do good, evil is ready to sabotage me. 22 Truly, deep within my true identity, I love to do what pleases God. 23 But I discern another power operating in my humanity, waging a war against the moral principles of my conscience and bringing me into captivity as a prisoner to the “law” of sin—this unwelcome intruder in my humanity. 24What an agonizing situation I am in! So who has the power to rescue this miserable man from the unwelcome intruder of sin and death? 25 I give all my thanks to God, for his mighty power has finally provided a way out through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One! So if left to myself, the flesh is aligned with the law of sin, but now my renewed mind is fixed on and submitted to God’s righteous principles.

If you don’t deal with it now, its going to deal with you later.

Samson Did Not Give Hiself Time To Heal

If GOD is strong to your enemies he can be strong to your flesh, he can be strong to how you feel. He can be strong with what your fighting in your emotions. God is so into you that he is even after how you feel!

When you don’t tend and allow you wound to heal you walk around bleeding out. Somebody might then wonder well Pastor why do I keep attracting the wrong people. Why is everybody trying to just use me. Let me help you.. THEY SMELL YOUR BLOOD. Wolves, Sharks, Pariahanhas, Tigers, may not have the best sight but they have a strong scent of smell and as a predator they can smell there prey BLEEDING OUT.

Thats why I got to take time to heal. This is next chapter of my life is called HEALED. I don’t want to walk around bitter, angry, with unforgiveness in my heart, depressed, frustrated, depressed. No I want to to say I’m happy and really be happy, say i got peace and actually have peace, say I’m victorious and actually have the victory. I just don’t want to have it.. I want to be it!

But in order to heal I have to unveil my weakness. In order to heal I have to show the doctor where it hurts. Let me help you today. Your weakness is not a sign of defeat. Your weakness is an invitation for a supernatural encounter. 2 Corinthians 12: 9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

We want God to be strong in areas that seem important to us, but GOD wants to sit on whats been keeping you up at night. He wants to sit on the reason you keep running back to what hurt you. He wants to on why your pillows are wet with tears.

The Goal should be to heal and not just stop the pain.

Samson Fed The Wrong Thing

The problem with Samson was that he was trying to feed his flesh and not his spirit. He was trying to feed his lust and not his heart.

Your body is going ot crave whatever you feed it

The media portrayed him as a monster. A gangster who was short- temp-red and had no self control. He transferred to the Baltimore School for the Arts, where he studied acting, poetry, jazz, and ballet. He performed in Shakespeare plays, and in the role of the Mouse King in the ballet The Nutcracker. He said “I do this because this is what I think people want me to do.”And now you have a 25 year old gun down las vegas street because the version that was fed overtook who he was actually intended to be.

The Spirit of Deliah

Some may wonder why this subject is so necessary to address because Delilah’s coming for you, but for every manipulator, every controller, every destiny killer, every dream snatcher that would try to rise up against you I AM ON THERE NECK TODAY.

Friendships that are coming that GOD has not ordained. People that will come and offer you things that look good, sound good, but ain’t good for you. It is not of GOD.

When you fall for the wrong thing you give access to to the wrong thing. Some of you are trying to fight off things that you let in. Samson fell in love with a woman that would be used to deprive him of his strength.

Let me help you with this Delilahs are not strangers. They are not people who you don’t know. They are inside jobs!

There are people that would come in the name of “friend”. There are people that would come in the name of “help”. There are people that would come in the name of”love” that have ulterior motive motives concerning you. Ulterior motives is a secret reason.

You must prayer for a sentive spirit of discrenment.

You laughed at me, make a joke out of me,. but don’t celebrate to soon cause I feel my hair growing back.

The Goal should be to heal and just not stop the pain.

Yeah Samson’s strength may have been in his hair, but his Power was in his mouth.

He was striped of his STRENGTH but they didn’t take his power.

The power in the season of darkness.

Samson eyes was gauged meaning that he was in a dark place. Samson did not have the ability to see what was in front of him.

It is important to understand that in your season that seems dark that you don’t forget your foundations.

Christ is my firm foundation. The soul rock on which I stand. All other ground is sinking sand. Rain came, wind blew, but my hope was built on you.

Samson asked to rest on the foundations!

Tell the testimony about Sis Hudson

The Philistines stood in celebration thinking that GOD had abandoned Samson. They gouged out Samson’s eyes which means he had no sight, but it is in the time of no sight that you you can hear and see more clearer than ever.

Bible Verses about Strength

Deuteronomy 31:6 ~ Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.

Ephesians 6:10 ~ Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.

Exodus 15:2 ~ The Lord is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise him, my father's God, and I will exalt him.

1 Chronicles 16:11 ~ Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually!

2 Timothy 1:7 ~ For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
