Day 1: Jesus, The Way
In John 14:6 , Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." That's pretty clear, right?
6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Hey, guys and girls! Let's talk about Jesus being the way to God. You know, it's like having a GPS for life, but even better! John Piper, a wise preacher, once said, "Jesus is not merely the best way to God; He is the only way." That means there's no other route, no shortcuts, just Jesus!
Proverbs 3:5–6 says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
Wow! When we trust in the Lord and let Him lead us, He promises to guide us on the right path. It's like having a divine GPS system!

Imagine you're on a road trip to an amazing amusement park. You're excited and ready to have a blast. But what if you don't know the way? You might end up lost, missing out on all the fun.
That's why Jesus is like the ultimate GPS. He knows the way to God, and He invites us to follow Him.
Jesus didn't just say, "Hey, guys, I know a way to God." No, no, no! He boldly declared, "I am the way!"
He wants to lead us and show us the path that leads to God.
And you know what? He's the perfect example to follow.
He lived a life filled with love, kindness, and compassion.
Here are some examples:
1. Love:
1. Love:
- The Parable of the Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11–32): This story showcases Jesus' unconditional love and forgiveness. It demonstrates how Jesus welcomed back a wayward son who had squandered his inheritance, emphasizing God's love for all who repent and return to Him.
- The Samaritan Woman at the Well (John 4:1–42): Jesus demonstrates love by engaging in a compassionate conversation with a Samaritan woman, showing her acceptance, and offering her living water, symbolizing eternal life.
2. Kindness:
2. Kindness:
- Healing the Blind Man (Mark 10:46–52): Jesus shows kindness by healing Bartimaeus, a blind man who cried out for mercy. Jesus not only restores the man's sight but also acknowledges his faith and compassionately responds to his plea.
- Feeding the Multitude (Matthew 14:13–21): When Jesus sees a large crowd without food, he shows kindness by miraculously multiplying a few loaves of bread and fish, feeding thousands of people.
3. Compassion:
3. Compassion:
- Healing the Leper (Mark 1:40–45): Jesus demonstrates compassion by healing a man afflicted with leprosy. Despite the social stigma surrounding leprosy, Jesus touches the man and restores him to health, showing his concern for the marginalized and outcast.
- Raising Lazarus from the Dead (John 11:1-44): In this story, Jesus displays deep compassion by raising Lazarus, a dear friend, from the dead. Jesus shares in the grief of those mourning and reveals his power over death.
Now, let's take a moment to think about our own lives.
Do you truly believe that Jesus is the only way to God?
Do you truly believe that Jesus is the only way to God?
It's not just about going to church or doing religious stuff.
It's about having a personal relationship with Jesus and trusting Him as your guide.
He's not a backseat driver; He wants to take the wheel of your life.

Well, God's Word, the Bible, is like a bright light that shows us the way.
When we read it and apply it to our lives, we can be confident that we're on the right track.
Are you following Jesus as your guide, surrendering your plans to Him?
Are you following Jesus as your guide, surrendering your plans to Him?
Imagine you're playing a video game, and Jesus is your co-op partner. You don't want to go off doing your own thing while He's trying to lead you to victory. Let Him guide you through the challenges, the tough choices, and the ups and downs of life.
Sometimes, we need to make some changes to align our lives with Jesus' teachings.
It's like when you're building a LEGO set and you realize you've put a piece in the wrong spot.
You have to take it apart and put it where it belongs. Similarly, aligning our lives with Jesus means letting go of things that don't line up with His love and truth.
So, let's reflect on these questions:
