Here to celebrate the life of

Jordan Elizabeth Benett

ON behalf of the Bennett Family I would like to say:

Thank you for showing your love and support to them during these tough times

Tough times make tough people

Among other things that we’ll talk about today

Jordan was tough

In setbacks and in victory she was a tough Woman of God

Watching the whole Bennett Family fight was a testament to me of the Faith they have

Interestingly enough the name Team Faith has an instrumental part of their lives

And the whole family really is a team of faith filled people

I want to read two scriptures for you this afternoon

John 10:10 NKJV

10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Jordan through her faith in God lived an abundant life

When you walked into the foyer you got to see just a glimpse of the things she accomplished:

A talented singer, Softball player, Teacher, Coach, Friend and Daughter

You think of the hundreds and thousands of people that she’s met and impacted over the years

Through coaching and teaching, I believe that only on the other side of heaven will we get to realize the impact she had on all of us

Hebrews 11 is the book of heroes of the Faith

It talks about, Noah, Enoch Abraham and so all all the greats of the Faith

He goes on to say they all had a good testimony through faith but they didn’t receive the Promise

That promise was Jesus

Jordan knew Jesus and she got to receive that promise and you can too

The main scripture I want to point out in this chapter is:

Hebrews 11:4

By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it being dead still speaks

I want you to think about Jordan today

I believe even though she is sitting with the Father now

The impact that she made here on this earth even in the short time, Her testament is still speaking

The kids that she taught, the girls that she coached, the kind of friend that she was

She is still teaching us today how to be a testament of Jesus to everyone around us
