Faith In The NOW!

Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”
Acts 12:6–15 ESV
Now when Herod was about to bring him out, on that very night, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and sentries before the door were guarding the prison. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood next to him, and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him, saying, “Get up quickly.” And the chains fell off his hands. And the angel said to him, “Dress yourself and put on your sandals.” And he did so. And he said to him, “Wrap your cloak around you and follow me.” And he went out and followed him. He did not know that what was being done by the angel was real, but thought he was seeing a vision. When they had passed the first and the second guard, they came to the iron gate leading into the city. It opened for them of its own accord, and they went out and went along one street, and immediately the angel left him. When Peter came to himself, he said, “Now I am sure that the Lord has sent his angel and rescued me from the hand of Herod and from all that the Jewish people were expecting.” When he realized this, he went to the house of Mary, the mother of John whose other name was Mark, where many were gathered together and were praying. And when he knocked at the door of the gateway, a servant girl named Rhoda came to answer. Recognizing Peter’s voice, in her joy she did not open the gate but ran in and reported that Peter was standing at the gate. They said to her, “You are out of your mind.” But she kept insisting that it was so, and they kept saying, “It is his angel!”
As I was preparing for this meeting, the Spirit of the Lord took me back to a dream that He gave me in January while being in Salt Lake City. In this dream, I was in a church building where I was preparing to minister. I was being escorted by security through this massive building towards the auditorium where the service was being held, when all of a sudden the security guards received a call that I needed to evacuate the building. They began to escort me out of this building and I can feel the intensity in the air, and I recall looking at the watch on my wrist being very aware of the time and how much time we actually had to evacuate the premises.
The Spirit of God began to speak to me about time sensitive intercession. This kind of intercession requires the believer to walk in-step with the Holy Spirit, to be sensitive to the leading of the holy spirit, and to walk in immediate obedience.
YOU CANNOT AFFORD TO MISS OUT ON WHAT THE HOLY SPIRIT TELLS YOU TO DO!
Points to take away from scripture:
Now faith is an active form of faith loaded with supernatural potential to cause miraculous things to happen instantaneously
This kind of faith is full of substance (HOPE)
This is the season to not be praying without hope.
Hope is defined as the feeling or expectation for something to occur
In order to truly have faith, you must hold onto your expectation! God can work with what you expect
Peter was locked in prison by the order of the King Herod after he had killed James, the brother of John
What I appreciate about the intercessors in this passage is that they didn’t waste any time
They understood the value of prayer, the power of prayer, the results that come from a life of prayer
They called their community that Peter was a part of and they WENT IN!! Tell your neighbor it’s time to Go IN!!!
There are lives on the line! You’ve got to go ALL THE WAY IN!!
Who’s life is on the line right now that is waiting on your prayers to set them free?
