The Miracle of a Moment (1 Corinthians 15:52)

Moment - an indivisible part of time.
4 divided by 2 is 2. 6 divided by 3 is 3. This moment is so fast, it has no number to record to be able to divide it. It’s so fast that you can’t cut it in half!

In Salvation

Matthew 4:17-22 “From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. And they straightway left their nets, and followed him. And going on from thence, he saw other two brethren, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in a ship with Zebedee their father, mending their nets; and he called them. And they immediately left the ship and their father, and followed him.”
- Straightway = immediately
- Immediately = instantly without delay.
The Bible teaches that upon faith in the finished work of Calvary and the resurrection of Jesus Christ, that person is in a moment, immediately saved by the grace of God and is given eternal life.
Those who was doomed for hell and declared a sinner, upon faith in Christ, is promised heaven and declared righteous.
Ephesians 1:13-14 “In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.”
Ephesians 2:12-13 “That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.”
Ephesians 2:18-19 “For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;”
Romans 5:8-9 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.”
Ephesians 5:8 “For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:”
1 John 3:1-2 “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.”

In Sorrows

The woman with the issue of blood (immediately) (Mark 5:29 “And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.” )
Impotent man at the gate called beautiful (immediately) (Acts 3:7 “And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ancle bones received strength.” )
Leper was immediately cleansed (Matthew 8:1-3 “When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him. And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.” )
Peter walking on the water and starting to sink cried out “Lord save me!” and immediately Jesus caught him. (Matthew 14:22-31)(Matthew 14:31 “And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?” )
The man at the pool of Bethesda was immediately made whole after an infirmity of 38 years (John 5:1-9)(John 5:6-9 “When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me. Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.” )
Jesus cast the demons out of the maniac of Gadarah immediately! (Mark 5:12-13 “And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them. And forthwith (immediately) Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea.” )
DO NOT GIVE UP IN YOUR TIME OF TRIAL AND TESTING BECAUSE EVERYTHING COULD CHANGE IN A MOMENT!!!!

In the Snatching Up

1 Corinthians 15:52 “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”
this “twinkling of an eye” indicates instantaneousness.
the average person blinks 15-20 times per minute, 900-1200 times per hour, 21,600 - 28,800 times per day. Any one of those blinks could be when Jesus Christ comes to get His bride.
Revelation 4:1-2 “After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.”
Everything could change, and will change in a moment.
Our next moment could be our last here, and next there.
