•THE LIGHT OF TRUTH

•John 8:31–32 (NASB95) 31So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, thenyou are truly disciples of Mine; 32and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”

•A CAREFUL LITTLE EARS WHAT YOU HEAR

A. We need to be careful who we listen to. Jesus is the only authority we need to heed and his word.

•B. CAREFUL LITTLE EYES WHAT YOU SEE

A. Jesus is our filter for what we see. We look through his Word and his truth.

A. When we follow Jesus we are on the right path.

1. Disorient you- Keep you confused

2. Distract you- keep you busy

3. Destroy you- keep you defeated

Ephesians 6:11–13 (NASB95)11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.

C. Darkness

1. TRUTH- What is true, What can I believe

2. COURAGe- What will happen id I stand?

3. MIND - What will my mind cling to? Fear or faith
