We live in a world that is subject to suffering. And in this world we experience death. Regardless, we often look for hope in the midst of dire circumstances. Many often look to God for physical healing of themselves or loved ones. But when God does not heal you/them we often wonder, why? Introduction

We live in a world that is subject to suffering. And in this world we experience death. Regardless, we often look for hope in the midst of dire circumstances. Many often look to God for physical healing of themselves or loved ones. But when God does not heal you/them we often wonder, why? In this teaching I will explore this question and what we should do in circumstance where God does not heal.

What does God say about it?

He is the Sovereign Creator of all things (Gen 1; Job 38-39; Ps 29:10). He is the supreme ruler and lawgiver over the entire universe
As Sovereign Creator, He determines as He wills (Ro 8:26-28).
What is the will of God? To know what one will determine, you need to know His character (Ex 34:6-7; Numbers 23:19)
Therefore, God heals some and not others because He determined it according to His purpose.

What are the reasons why God determines it that way?

Plan of salvation (Deut 29:29; Luke 4:14-30; John 9:1-5)
Grace is sufficient (2 Co 12:9-10)
Disobedience (Deut 28)
Lack of Trust (Matt 13:53-58)

What should I do, if God determines not to heal me?

Trust Him (numerous healings that were commended by faith)
Live by faith not by sight (2 Co 4:7-18; 5:7; Titus 2:13)
