Wait.

Unity.

Thank you. Lord. Lord, we just thank you for this. You just thank you that as we wait on you, you will renew our strength as we wait on you. You will come. It says, as surely as the sun rises she will appear, so will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water, the Earth you are faithful and you will come to us. So we wait for you,

What's to Cornerstone? Or do we want to go over the new one more time?

Okay, let's go to Cornerstone. I got it. I'll tell you this one story. This is totally in a different place, but when my first church I was at this was back before phones and iPads and everything. So people brought their Bibles to church, right? And I had this guy, he was up in The Sound Room, he came down after the service. He said that was the best sermon you ever preached when you said this and you said that and you said this and you said that is exactly what I needed. And and here's the thing I was going through a portion of scripture and I know where I started, I know where I stopped. I knew it came afterwards. What came afterwards was a sermon that he thought was so good. I didn't get there. I didn't say any of those things. He was reading ahead and God was blessing. I'm and he thought it was me. It's like no it's not what I say. It's what you here. So you can have to come with ears to hear what God is saying to you. It's, I got to do my part and be prepared but you To do your part is ready to receive and when you do man God shows up. He will he will. Free to talk today about how to have live at peace with God in the day-to-day of every day. When we talk about people being at peace with God often, it's on their deathbed or approaching death know where their peace with God. It's a euphemism. We used to say that they're ready to go home. They know that they know where the weather going, they do the hope to which they've been called, they did they know that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. They know this world is not their home and they know they've been created to live forever with him and they're ready. They're at peace. And all of that is true. But I found that I need to have. I need to be a peace with God in the day-to-day of every day.

You know, I can only argue with him too long and I know some of you think I talk to you argue with God, but you do it. You just don't recognize it. We all argue with God and and I can only do it so long before I realize, he's right. And I'm not and you don't repent and make it right. I I can only live in send so long because it doesn't matter what I'm doing it. God reminds me, he's not going to let sin Master me and he takes care of it. You know, I need to as long as it depends on me live at peace with everyone because I realized the horizontal relationships affect my vertical relationship in my vertical relationship. Text my horizontal relationships, I need to be at peace with God so I can be at peace with everyone as far as it depends on me. I need to be a peace with everyone as far as it depends on me to be at peace with God. I need to forgive, I need to ask for forgiveness, I need to make amends, I need to seek Justice it with Mercy. And we'll get to all of that, but I want to start first with what Peter tells the church in 1st. Peter 3:8, 216. He says. Finally, all of you should be a one mind sympathize with each other, love each other as brother and sisters, be tender-hearted and keep a humble attitude, don't repay evil for evil. Don't retaliate insult when people insult you instead, pay them back with blessing. That is what God has called you to do for. He will grant you, his Blessing for scripture says, if you want to enjoy life and see many happy days, keep your tongue from speaking evil. In your lips, from telling lies, turn from Evil and do good seek peace and work to maintain it. The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right in his ears are open to their prayers but the Lord turns his face against those who do evil. Now, who will harm you for if you want it? If you're eager to do good but even if you suffer for doing what is right, God will reward you for it. So don't worry or be afraid of their friends. Instead you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asked you about the hope you have, is a Believer always be ready to explain it but do this in a gentle and respectful way. Keep your conscience clear. Then if people speak against you, they will be ashamed when they see what a good life you live because you belong to Christ. Can we prank?

Lord, I do. Thank you. That it is your words that you speak to your people. and Lord it is the seed that's thrown on good soil, that Cruz is a hundredfold

So I pray Lord for all of us to have ears ears to hear what you're saying. I pray Lord God that the soil would not be hard. It went bounce off, it wouldn't be choked with weeds in the worries of life, it would it would find good soil and Sprout of a hundredfold. We thank you for this. In your name. We pray. Amen.

No, please don't think of what I'm about to tell you. I'm telling you cuz I have it all worked out and I'm always a piece at all times, no matter the situation. That's just not true. But I know the piece is my goal. Not to make things go away or not to not confront when it needs to happen. My peace can't be based on circumstantial things. That's the piece of the world. The Peace of the world is everyone gets along. The peace of God is God, is the God of Peace and he grants peace to those who trust him. so when we trust him and Obey, what he tells us to do,

We can be at peace with ourselves. We can be at peace with others, as long as it depends on us. And we will be at peace with God.

see the problem is I see it, Paul bless the church and Cecil and I can with this blessing and second Thessalonians 3:16, he says now may the Lord of Peace himself, give you peace at all times and in every situation The Lord be with you all. Oh that's wonderful. I love that. I bless that with 4 people all the time and I pray it for myself all the time, but the fact of the matter is, if we just sit around and seeing I got peace like a river. I've got peace like a river and that's your River.

It it it's really cold. Toxic piece. You do we force ourselves to Fieldpiece? It doesn't happen. It doesn't happen to force ourselves to, I've met with so many people who, tell me, they trust God. And I have peace about this and then they go on for 3 hours about telling me how peaceful they are used to it. We're done peaceful but it's just a problem in this problem. I won't do that if that's wrong. Yeah. We're all there.

We're told to seek peace in the work to maintain it.

We have a rule to play to have peace at all times and in every situation

what I'm trying to say is that we have the God of Peace always with us.

Will you be with him?

The bigger problem is, Jesus told us he promised us in this world, we're going to have trouble.

But he followed that up with take heart. I have overcome the world.

It's our choice. What the trouble we go through? Is it going to make us better? Or is it going to make us bitter?

What are we allowing to sit in our lives? Listen, if we give up our peace so easily.

So easily, I give up my peace when I drive with Edmonton driver. Sometimes they are

I got this whole scheme worked out. I drive a master. So anyone who drives a Mazda is proactive and he's attention. I can trust them. Someone who drives a Lexus, think they own the road and do whatever they want to do. Just watch for this. It happens people with an H on their back, so that's Hyundai, or Honda. They go at whatever speed limit, they be necessary, meaning LegalZoom pass me on the hand, ache and then slow up to 40 10 minutes later and it's like dude. Anyway.

Do I give up my peace when I'm driving in Edmonton?

Do I give up my piece when I faced a difficult situation? I got to talk to somebody about something. Oh my goodness, I get so many of my job is awkward conversations. I kind of enjoy those so it's not a problem but I want to make sure I go in with the right attitude. I want to make sure I'm maintaining my peace in that.

It's God's plan to work everything together for the good of those who he's called. It's up to us to agree that that's happening, even if we don't see it happening,

It's up to us to trust him and cast your cares on him because he cares for us. If we don't trust him, we won't cast our cares on him. And we need to be Salt and Light and be ready to give a reason for the hope that we have. People don't ask about the hope that you have or the joy that you have. Unless they first see the piece that you have.

Do people see your peace and joy?

When they do, they'll ask about your hope.

I'm learning that anything that cost me. My peace is too expensive.

So I got to learn how to deal with all of that.

How do we stop giving up our piece? That's a great question. I'm so glad you asked. I've been working on that. With his tool I've come up with.

The tool, the word identify is helps us to remember all the different things that we can do. We need to identify with a peace of God. So let's start with what the Bible says about peace. I've already mentioned it to you, in the world. Peace is nobody disagrees.

In the Bible. It starts with us having peace with God. You do have peace with God Romans 5:1. Therefore since we have been made right in God's sight we have peace with God because of what Christ Jesus. Our lord has done for us. We don't have peace because of what we've done. We don't have peace that we followed. These rules are obeyed all these things. So we have peace know. It's only because of the blood of Christ, it's only because what he did on the cross, that we have access to the God of Peace, who can give us peace at all times. And in, every circuit, the situation, We have peace with God. We have peace from God. Jesus said, I'm leaving you a gift piece of my heart and mind and heart and the peace. I give is a gift. The world cannot give so don't be troubled or afraid. In Psalm 29:11, it says the Lord gives his people strength, the Lord blesses them with peace.

Peace with yourself, peace with others. As long as it depends on you and peace with God.

Will not identify with peace until we trust God as our Sole Provider of peace.

This isn't I got enough money in the bank account in order to retire. It's not piece life happens. Pieces. And I've got a job that will let me pay all my bills. It doesn't really matter if you do that circumstance.

This is, I can trust the God of Peace. I can trust him that he is working. All things together, for good hiking, trust him, that he is going to use this for his glory.

Isaiah 26:3 says you will keep in perfect? Peace. All who trust in? You all whose thoughts are fixed on you. That's our role. Do we trust in God? Do we fix our thoughts on him? This tool will help you go through that. Okay, so I'm taking this to all this identify the peace of God. Tool come from this portion of scripture, we just read. It's it's it's basically what we song this morning, okay. Peace with God. You're going to have to ignore all fence. You're going to have to decide to blast. You're going to enjoy God blessing, you're going to navigate Peace, you're going to turn prayers and do a changes. You're going to invest in Repentance, you're going to forgive freely and you're going to yield to his lordship. So let's get into that now, I ignore offense. First date tells us finally, all of you should be a one mind sympathize with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters be tenderhearted and keep a humble attitude. Peter gives us advice in chapter 4, 1st, Peter, 4:14 at the 17, he said, if you're insulted because you bear the name of Christ, you'll be blessed for the Glorious, spirit of God rest upon you. If you suffer, however, it must not be for a murderer or stealing or making trouble or prying into others Affairs. You just love how it goes from murder to frighten, the others affairs.

It's like stealing or making troubles, like what do you mean? I kind of like it when people call me a troublemaker

What was the reading? Yeah, but it is no shame to suffer for being a Christian. Praise God for the privilege of being called, on his name, by his name. and if judgment begins, I did it before. It's time to come for the Judgment. Time. Has Come For the Judgment in a must begin with God's household and if judgment comes that begins with us. What terrible fate awaits for those who have never opened the good God, good news.

We can be offended at others. We can be offended at God. We can be offended at ourselves.

Find, I'm more offended. It others when I'm living offended. It God.

I think that's the right term. It's the term that Jesus used when John the Baptist was sitting in jail. And he just announce, Jesus is the Messiah and Jesus. Adjust read, I have come to set the prisoner free and where was John, he was in prison. And so, he sent his disciples asked. Jesus, are you the one or should we wait for another? And Jesus said, tell John what you see. The dead Death. Cure the blind. See Good news is preached to the poor. And blessed. Is he who is not offended because of me.

We can live offended it. God and not realize it, because we don't have a language in the church to describe being offended at God except that.

Christians understand that he is the Potter and we are the clay and we are just the works of his hands. So the last God, Do you want to just take my husband? You could pick my husband, the other. You're not living offended.

Give yourself permission to realize your living offended. It God.

Go to him and and tell him, I think that's what I might be doing. God, help me here.

We'll get into this, but that's exchanging your problems with his peace.

You might have to give up your right to understand because he's promised. You peace that passes understanding.

You might have to look at that dead seed in your hand and then realize it does no good sitting in your hand but you have to plant it. And then the increase comes.

He'll show you how to not live offended him. He'll do that.

When we feel offended it ourselves it and it's something that we've confessed and repented off. And yet the language, we tell ourselves as you stupid, you're nobody, why do you keep doing that? You're just you're agreeing with the Enemy and not agreeing with God. Can I tell you that is the sin of unbelief at work? Because you don't believe that God's forgiveness of you is enough to give yourself a break.

If I confessed it to God and repented of it.

If that's for giving me, who am I to hold a grudge?

If we were sitting across a table, I'd be much more kind than this, but I just I just I think people need to hear this. Being offended at yourself, know, if you got sin, you got to confess and repent. But if you confess and repent, Turn living light to start living in the light.

People say, you can forgive me, but I refuse to forgive myself while who are you to replace God.

How silly does that sound?

In this Fallen World, you will be offended, you will be Choose to be unoffendable. Ignore it. Put others needs ahead of your own keep short accounts with God.

I don't trust God, he will take care of it.

Question, you can ask yourself or ask. Holy spirit is do I get offended at things that? Don't offend God.

That works in here. It also works with the people around us is got offended by that. Well, maybe I shouldn't be either.

So, you're going to ignore will fence. To identify with a piece of God. You're also going to decide to blast that's the D. Verse 9 says, don't repay evil for evil. Don't retaliate with insult when people insult, you and said pay them back with a blessing.

Paul says in Romans 12, 14, bless those who persecute you, don't curse them and pray that God will bless them.

It's tough to do this without the help of Holy Spirit. We can't just decide to do it on our own strength or ability counter in to. It is to the world's thinking

The Holy Spirit, Will Empower you to accomplish every good work. Dropping it by faith. And if I'm choosing to bless somebody who has offended me,

if I choose to be a blessing instead of cutting them off or doing whatever I think should be done. I'm not saying putting yourself in danger. I'm not seeing Play putting yourself in a place to be hurt.

You know what I'm saying? Is Holy Spirit, might be telling you, you got to be able to bless those who mean you harm.

If you can't do it in person because of safety reason, you can do it just where you're at with Holy Spirit and pray a blessing on him that God would bless them. The same way. He I want him to bless me.

Remember God is the one who's going to avenge. He will repay. That's why we can trust him to do that. When we trust him to make it right.

I'm at Christian's a Christian.

Tell me she couldn't forgive her husband for what he did because he became a Christian after the fact and God, forgave him all of that. And if she didn't hold a grudge, he would be off scot-free.

Years later, we ran into them and they entered us to do. So, as to their child, it was kind of a funny. Awkward. Well, if I made it awkward, but they were together. God eventually made it right? Cuz she eventually chose to forgive but it took Years Years

Oh yeah, just came to me, too.

You're blessed to be a blessing and if you want peace with God you have to be at peace with others. So bless those who curse you

When we praise God, we we we bless God. It's not really the same but that's why we raise our hands. We with our hands, we bless. And so when we raise our hands were blessing, God

I think it's kind of is the same in that there. Sometimes we need a blessed God before the answer comes. We need to praise him before the battles won. We we we praise him before it makes sense and end in that act of praising and blessing. God, something changes inside of us could actually trust him. He's going to work at all together for good. Sometimes we need to make that choice to praise we always need to make that choice to praise but sometimes it's a now it's a sacrifice because I got nothing today to really be thankful for.

It's not true, but that's how you feel.

We bless those who curse us and we bless God. Before the answer comes.

We bless ourselves by thinking more about how God thinks about us and how the enemy thinks about us.

Don't be agreeing with the words in your head that come to steal kill and destroy. Those aren't from God.

Will tell you how to get them cleaned up. It is possible.

Question we can ask ourselves is can I bless those who curse me?

Can I bless those who curse me?

So do I identify with a piece of God, we want to ignore offense. We want to decide to blast and then he is to it. We want to enjoy God's blessing. The second part of verse 9 says, this is what God has called you to do, and He will grant you his Blessing. Paul says in Philippians 4:6 and 7. Don't worry about anything instead. Pray about everything, tell God what you need, and thank him for all he's done. Then you will experience God's peace. Which exceeds anything. Your you can understand his peace, will guard your hearts and Minds as you live in Christ, Jesus.

I want you to, I want to show you some 119:160 1165 as well. It says, powerful people harass me without cause but my heart, trembles only at your word. I rejoice in your work like one, who discovers, Greek treasure. I hate Anna poor falsehoods, but I love your instructions. I will praise you. Seven times a day because of all your regulations are. Just those who love your instructions have great peace. And don't stumble.

Wow. Okay, do things I want to say about these things. Number one is never underestimate the role of gratitude.

Dixiecrat the role. The Gratitude has for you to have peace at all times. And in every situation

And we can live at peace with God. We can live with Keith's with others and we can live at peace with ourselves when we choose to be grateful. It's it's a simple simple thing. Think about being thankful and never neglect to show your appreciation. Others when you appreciate something to make it a habit, tell them, right? Then what you would appreciate.

The second part is we need to re, we need to learn or relearn to have a love for his word.

When we love is instructions, we have great peace and we don't stumble. If you want to reignite your love for the Bible. Approach it with Thanksgiving.

Approach it with gratitude.

I remember for me when I was a young kid and it hit the penny dropped in my head and I realize David was a real boy, he was a real person who lived in the real. History.

And then when I went to University, I read all of the Contemporary text to what we have in the Bible, the Bible is written over 2,600 years.

and as the ancient ancient texts that are comparable, You read and they don't read like The Bible. Like, how I'm already had his code, that was a lot like the Ten Commandments, it's not the Ten Commandments, it's totally different.

Like the kings that was set up, steelies talk about how great they are and how they crush this to people, in this people's to slavery and crush this people, and none of them. And I slept with my, my, the wife of a commander and then I had to kill him. And then I had to like great problems came, but that's in this book.

That's ancient history that that for me, I really when I start thinking about that, I get appreciation for this book, like it like it is. I will I love studying this word.

Maybe you read the Psalms and you find one that just that did, that tells the emotional truth that you're feeling right now.

And that blows you away that some author three thousand years ago felt the same way you feel.

And God had an answer for them and that answers the same for you.

When we come to the Bible with a checklist to check off that we read this chapter, we read this chapter, we read this chapter, all that we have is a checklist that you checked off. There is some benefit the dopamine in your brain gives you some benefit for checking it off. But when we approached this word with Thanksgiving,

like I am thankful for the problems they had in Corinth because otherwise we wouldn't know that we're supposed to be celebrate with communion all the time. It's a fact that they did it so poorly that Paul had to correct them. Let that we know. We're regularly take the event that the wine in the cup, the cup in the bread.

Do you love his word? You'll have great. Peace. Do you obey his word? When you obey his word, that's when the Gratitude comes in. It's kind of a cyclical thing. This spiritual things if you're not reading the Bible, it's really hard to pick it up without gratitude, but pick it up shoes to pick it up with gratitude. but no, the more you get in it, the more it feed your soul, the more you get used to it, spiritual things, have this way that the more you eat, the more hungry or you get the more you choose to praise God and worship the more. If you feel like praising God In Worship, it it says it's a spiritual thing. The more you eat, the more you're hungry, the less you eat, the more storage you become. No, that's not what I wanted to say that with you. Anyway, it is it becomes like a not you don't even it's easy to get out of this book and forget that. Forget that it's there.

Question, you can ask yourself is in his gratitude an attitude that I work to maintain.

So, do I identify with the peace of God? You ignore offense. You decide to blast you enjoy God's blessing and, and you navigate, Peace. Verse 11 says, if you want to enjoy life and see many happy days, keep your tongue from speaking evil, and your lips from telling lies, turn from Evil and do good, search for peace and work to maintain it.

Do you want to enjoy life and have many happy days? At peace with God.

If you want to keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies, that's peace with others.

And if you want to turn from Evil and do good, that's peace with yourself. The tool that God gives us is to tools, is confession and repentance will get to that in a bit.

We get peace. When we trust God, that's Isaiah 26:3. We've already read it. Keep in. Perfect peace. All whose mind who's fixture on you? We get peace and hope and joy. When we pass trusting, God, according to Romans 15 3, it says that may the god of Hope fill you with completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. So you'll overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. That's a different translation.

Question we can ask ourselves. Do I have peace with God? Do I have peace with others? Do I have peace with myself?

That's how we navigate Peace.

The tea and identify reminds us to turn prayers into exchanges. First 12 tells us the eyes of the Lord watch over those who do, right? And his ears are open to their prayers. I want you to hear how 1st Peter 5:7 is Trends, translated in the Amplified version, Look at this does casting all your cares, all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concern once, and for all on him, for he cares about you with deepest affection and watches over you very carefully.

That's a different. Anyway, it's the same translation different year.

Prayer lines. Our heart with God's heart. Prayer isn't just something we say over the meetles. It's that place where we come with Thanksgiving. Where we come and we do bring all of our problems. We bring them to God.

We bring them to God because we know that he cares for us.

Every time we pray, we should be changed.

If you feel the same way after you gone to prayer, good chances, all you've done is complained. It's okay to complain but it's not what God intended for prayer. Prayer is to be that exchange where I give him my problems and he gives me his peace. It only happens when I trust him that he cares for me so that I can cast all of my cares upon Him.

And prayer becomes different. When we say,

Godly. I got this problem in this problem. This problem and it said we start saying God, I don't know how you're going to fix this, but thank you that you will. I don't know how you're going to fix this, but I thank you that you will. I don't know how you're going to fix this but I thank you that you will it changes prayer? It, it becomes more fun.

You got to bring out your problems and he exchanges them with his peace.

Question we can ask is do I exchange my problems for his peace?

The eye and identify reminds us to invest in Repentance.

First, the end of verse 12 says, but the Lord turns his face against those who do evil.

Sin separates us from God. It separates us before we come to him. It's the price of the cross that makes that we can come before him. It's all the work. The finished work of the Cross, his blood makes it possible for us to be cut. Come into relationship with him.

1st, John tells us if we claim to have no sin. He was ready to Christians. Here. He said it, we claimed to have no sin. We're only fooling ourselves and not living by the truth, but if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful. And just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

The tool God has for us to deal with sin. The two tools confession and repentance confession is agreeing with God, what I'm doing or not doing is sin. Repentance is changing my mind and turning around and doing the exact opposite.

When that happens.

His blood covers Us from all of our sin.

see, the one thing we don't emphasize enough is, is the fact that God is Holy

And a holy God, could have nothing to do with sin. But it's not because seen offends him. It's because sin makes his people less than what they're intended to be us and hurts us. Every sin in the Bible hurts us or hurt our relationships with others.

He doesn't want us to be causing that pain.

I even though is I'm talking about this, that God's grace is sufficient for everything. So yes, I know. I know sometimes He blesses me and comes to me and then gently points out that sin that I've been ignoring did I thought I had the right to hold on to That I thought. No, that's yeah. You know you've been there, right? You've been to that place, where your holy spirit is

Point out something in your heart that you thought was good and right? And yet when he looks at you, look at it through his eyes. It's it's Deadly and Evil.

And his grace is sufficient. He will forgive but we need to confess and repent.

Question we can ask ourselves. Is there anything I need to confess?

BF. And identify means we need to forgive freely. This one. I kind of stretched. Okay, it says verse 13 and 14. Now who will want to harm you if you are eager to do good but even if you suffer for doing what is right, God will reward you for it. So don't be afraid of their threats. I was kind of going off of fact when people accuse you of doing something wrong, when you're doing right, you still gotta forgive them.

You got to be able to. Did forgive that okay and forgiveness.

Forgiveness is a choice. It's a choose to forgive

But Jesus said, we need to forgive with her whole heart so it's more than a choice.

Sometimes we need a bless. When we forgiven in a okay we'll get into it. It's not in my notes. What will get it done?

I found it when as I work with people over the years, some people, it it, it has nothing to do with the size of the offense. I've had people come to me who have just had horrible things happen.

And I start with telling them they need to decide to forgive and they decide to forgive and Men, they've got peace.

And then I talk to people who have got come to me with some little tiny little thing that they're taking offense at and I tell him to forgive and they choose to forgive and they don't have peace.

I'm at people, come with you, even worse things that they they choose to forgive but then the baby action is they've got to do something to blast

and if you if a reaction might be Just seeing I blessed them in the name of Jesus, I pray for them with the same blessing that I want. I want on them and you honestly say that that sometimes can make you feel keys for having forgiven them.

Your heart is at the combines, the decision, the action, and the the emotion. So when you forgive with your whole heart, you got to decide, you got to do something, and you should feel it. you should feel like you forgiven them, you should have that piece and if you don't have that piece, I found, it doesn't work, just to keep on deciding to forgive It doesn't work to keep on doing something to bless them. What you need to do is heal up that emotion that Holy Spirit, seal up that emotion. Often. It's, it's coming because there's an offense, farther back in your memory. And God me, bring that to your mind, and then you need to forgive them. And when you forgive them, you can forgive this person right here and you can feel it.

So, if you are struggling with anything that you've tried to forgive them, you've tried to forgive the, you don't feel like you forgiven them. Just can help. Holy spirit will help but we can help you and Coley Spirit connect. And really feel the peace that comes from forgiveness.

Yeah, that's not all I got to say about that, but I do want to see Jesus said in Matthew 6:14 to 15. If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly father will forgive you, but if you refuse to forgive others, your father will not forgive your sins. He wants you to feel the peace that comes from forgiving with your whole heart.

To learn how to forgive with your whole heart.

Finally, the Y.

And identify reminds us to yield to his lordship.

And verse 15 and 16 says you might instead you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asked you about your hope is a Believer always be ready to explain it. But do this in a gentle and respectful way, keep your Consciousness, clear that if people speak against you, they will be ashamed when they see the good life you live because you belong to Christ.

I memorized this in the NIV version. I really NIV 1984 says in your heart, set apart Christ as Lord.

Philippians 2 9 0. No, I'll get to that one.

I personally have done a disservice over the years and I'm trying to change my language in this and I do a lot of pastors have done it. We give the invitation and we asked you to make Jesus the Lord of your life. That is nowhere in the Bible.

The Bible doesn't say, I can make him my lord. It's not a decision on my part.

It says Philippians 2 10:51 therefore got elevated into the place of highest honor and gave him. The name that is above every name, but the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Every knee will bow in heaven and on Earth and under the Earth. And every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord of the glory of God, the Father, it's a matter that he is Lord. And our choice is just to acknowledge Him as Lord, we can't make him Lord, he is Lord.

Well, does that matter? Oh yeah, it does. Because it puts us in the proper position of God when he is Lord of my life, he is Lord of all things in my life. If he's not, Lord of all, he's not Lord at all. I have not allowed him to be Lord over this area or that area.

Is he Lord of everything in your life.

Are you holding something back saying? Okay, I'll just

We started with deathbed confessions and I have met, too many people who decide their escape plan is just have a deathbed confession.

Most of them have died in car crashes. And I have no idea if we're able to say anything before that.

But honestly I've lived my life long enough to know, why would you not want all your knee beforehand?

Because everything in heaven and everything, under the Earth will Proclaim that Jesus is Lord. So all of us are going to be our need some time.

The benefit of bowing Arnie now. Is it we get his lordship for the rest of his life and for all eternity. If it's going to be good in heaven, we might as well have a good on Earth.

it is the strangest thing to me that we don't

We make us ticks juices like God you can have this much in my life but not this much more until we eat. We say that prayer time and time again. But guess what? Keyboard.

He is Lord.

Easy Lord of everything in my life.

When you identify with a peace of God, people will ask about the piece you have.

This world needs peace. They need to see your peace and your joy and want to ask about your hope.

Will you bring his peace to the day after day of every day?

Will you ignore a fence? You can ask yourself is do I get offended at things that don't offend God. We decide to blast. Can I bless those who curse me? William navigate Peace. Do I have peace with God, peace with others and peace with myself.

Speedway. Turn praise prayers and two exchanges. Do I exchange my problems for his peace? I do I invest in Repentance. Is there anything I need to confess?

After I freely forgive, is there anyone? I need to forgive and why is yield to his lordship? Is he Lord of everything in my life.

I want to end with a blessing of Paul that says me, you have peace at all times. And in every situation,

But I don't want to end the service yet. We're going to put on some soaking music and we'll have those questions up and take time today. That ask Holy Spirit to highlight anything he wants to do on there. If you need help working through any of these things, especially forgiveness talk to someone before you leave here. We can set something up.

but,

I want you to know it is.

Hit the piece that he gives is real peace. It is not as the world gives it. It's peace because of what he does, and who he is. It's not based on your circumstance or on your lack,

His peace will not go away. But you can go away from it.

So will you let him be Lord of your life?

Let me pray for us.

Lord, I don't know what you're speaking to people's hearts.

I don't know the trauma, they've faced or the disappointment. They're going through.

I don't know the Hertz that they feel whether real or imagined even.

But I do know the benefit of trusting you with all of my heart.

And I know I need to seek peace and pursue to work to maintain it.

so Lord, as we feel your peace in this moment,

I ask that you would speak peace to the storms in our life.

and if there's anything you want to heal,

Anything you want us to confess and repent from?

any relationship we need to give to you and trust you with

I pray that we would have ears to hear what the spirit is saying, and hearts to Abate, what you want us to do.

Thank you, Lord. That your present in this moment, to speak to our hearts today.

Listen to what holy spirit says to you.

Do we just want to thank everyone for being here today and in this moment? And if you want to take more time, feel free to do. So it's just we are just going to close up the service that if you want to go feel free. But also if you want to just spend that more time, just do that as well. So, your choice, I will just close in prayer at this moment.

Father God, we thank you.

It's as simple as that. We thank you.

This world without you would be absolutely terrifying.

But because of you, we not only have peace but we have joy.

Father, we just thank you for those moments of perfect. Peace.

That the world just cannot understand.

Got that when we freely give it all to you. You. Truly reward us.

With the beauty that is paste.

Father, for those that are just struggling with that those, you cannot find that for those that are living in chaos. I pray that you would provide that give them that light, give them that knowledge of what it is that they need to let go.

give them that understanding of what it is that cause that

Give them that, absolute peace, that you are the one in control. And that there is nothing.

I can steal that away.

If they choose to remain in your peace.

I just pray that there would be in abundance for God.

There would be an abundance of peace that we can pass on to our family or friends or coworkers are neighbors.

God, that each of us would be at what is different about you.

Should we have that open door to explain what it is? that it is, you

we ask all of this in your name. Amen. Have a fantastic week, everyone.
