Mercy

mercy: compassion or forgiveness shown toward someone whom it is within one’s power to punish or harm.
Lamentations 3:22 KJV 1900
It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
Deuteronomy 4:31 KJV 1900
(For the Lord thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them.
