“Remain Faithful to the Truth”

Introduction:
This week, I received a warning of a severe storm system brewing throughout the Alamance County area in the city of Burlington, while at work. I did not see any clouds. As a matter of fact, the sun was out, it was a beautiful day. Although, it was  very hot and dry in the area when I initially receive the warning. However, it did not take long before the storm began to roll in. suddenly the sky began to turn black. In no time, the sounds of thunder, and the sight of a lightning feel the dark in the sky. It appeared as though there were buckets of rain, falling from the heavens, as forecasters predict. The streets were flooded, trees, bending at the wins, command, and many people were without electricity. I was glad that I received a warning before the storm came through. Because it gave me a chance to seek shelter out of the storm. As I begin to reflect on this situation. It reminds me of Jude, who sounded the alarm, warning, the people of God, to remain faithful to God, despite upcoming challenges. No matter how the storms a brewing I miss God’s people stay faithful to the truth. In today’s lesson we will examine the importance the truth through the eyes of Jude.
Jude is warning the saints of the Most high King of people that had come into the church simply to pervert the Grace of God.
