Isaiah 14:9 (NSFLB)
“Hell from beneath is excited about you, To meet you at your coming; It stirs up the dead for you, All the chief ones of the earth; It has raised up from their thrones. All the kings of the nations.”
People testify of actually seeing that. But one man heard another voice too that brought him back.
cried out but no answer - 3x
felt a pulling -
spiritual never grows old
Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.
spiritual hings never grow old —
Brother Hagin - his third time he died and his heart stopped beating; he heard a voice but he couldn’t interpret it as he was descending into how right at the gates of hell
My thought is because had he really known what that voice said, he may have have come back and felt prideful or boastful, but I think it was a voice from heaven in a heavenly language that brought him back from the dead and from hell...God gave him gifts and his ministry was fueled from a heavenly source.
SANDY: the voice could have been a language that hell understood but he didn’t understand.
God may spoke things into existence which would later be brought out by faith; similar to God speaking “light be”
God is the God who calls the things that be not as though they were
God may have had said something like this man will live to be X number of years old on the earth and he will do mighty exploits for the kingdom of God.
“So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s bosom. The rich man also died and was buried.
“And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
“Then he cried and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.’
“But Abraham said, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented.

place of eternal death - the 2nd death - permanently and eternally separated from God.
Old Testament (14:3-23: Taunt Against the King of Babylon)
Sheol is the Hebrew word for the netherworld.
The word was sometimes used as a synonym for “grave” because the grave was the portal through which one entered the netherworld. The Israelites believed that the spirits of the dead continued to exist in this shadowy world. They were not thought to have a pleasant existence, but Sheol is never associated with the torment of hellfire in the Old Testament
