Oh, Lord. We love you. this morning, we want to worship you with everything that's in our very being We want to give you everything. We've got to give or not that we expect to get anything back. But you always, always, give back way more than we could ever think about getting. But lord, it's just because you told us. So that's who we are. And we're yours. And that's the way that we're supposed to function. We thank you for that. We thank you that you have not left us his workings. Thank you for this new day in Jesus name. Amen.

Goodwill this morning before I teach, we have a much better teacher to come and teach Chelsea's going to come.

You know a guy just whatever comes out of my mouth today. Let it be a lesson from you. Lord, I ask that you just touch each and every one person here today with the words that are spoken, no matter who speaks them, allow us all to learn something today. My first first comes from Isaiah 64, verse 8, from the NIV yet, you Lord are our father. We are the clay. You Are The Potter, we are all the work of your hand. And then Jeremiah 23 23 to 24. Am I Only a God nearby declares the Lord and not a god far away, who can hide in secret places so that I cannot see them declares the Lord. Do I not feel Heaven and Earth declares the Lord? I think that I think that today God is asking, am I not the Potter? Am I, are you not the clay? And a question that he's been asking me lately, and I probably asked all of us. Have we allowed him to be the Potter and have we allowed him to make us new. Have we really tasted and seen that? He is our Our Savior and our lord of our life. Are we trying to pour new wine into an old wineskin? Are you start believing the lies of the enemy and not the word of one of the one who sits you together? Even more are you arguing with God as to whether or not the plan he laid out is right for? Right for you? Or if you are good enough for it, and I found it as I was contemplating this I found another scripture that was kind of like playing. Okay. This one from the csb woe to the one who argues, with his maker one, Clay Pot among many does clay say to the one forming it. What are you making for? Does your work say he has no hands or did your workers say he has no hands.

Are we really going to question the Potter really are? We going to allow? The problems of RJ the minor problems compared to what price did. Honestly, I'm not going to negate all of the issues that we all have every day. Because I mean, I myself have gone through some pretty deep depression, and have a pretty deep into a hole that I didn't think I could. But in that moment, God told me. Why do you have so much pride? Why do you have so much pride? That you don't believe me that you don't believe I can form. You knew I can make. You knew I can for wineskin new wine and make you a new one skin.

The word also says that the God is big enough to fill the heavens. And it also says that Satan is small enough to be crushed under our foot.

So why am I going to let a problem? That could be crushed under my foot with the authority? That Christ gave me through him, allow me to be so

Misguided and thinking that God can't, who fills the heavens, who created the Earth, the God who sits us together in our mother's womb, newest preordained. Every step that we take a God that Created the entire universe, can't fix it. Help me fix my problems can't fix them for me if he's so ordained and so dangerous to do so

You're very stupid. Now I'm going to cry cuz if he had, he was, he had me jumping up and down in my seat, this week doing this, you know, several weeks that I was praying over the kids and putting them together. And I got a word that said, your anointing has the way for their and Lee was speaking of passing of a time last week. And so what he thought was confusion was actually off, because God was God was speaking laughing. I'm think everyone here, felt that because when God spoke to me that our or are Anointing paved The Way for therapy. Also spoke to me of Esther and it wasn't and I knew after praying over it and going to the word that it was an encouragement to remind me that even though the literal world is on fire, a lot of the time these days that as I said, he preordained our existence for such a time as this Proverbs 9 verse 10, right here, I haven't noticed while the enemy is going to try to get into your head and confuse and distract you. But remember that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and the knowledge of the Holy one is understanding I want you to fill yourself with the knowledge of the word of God because you can only have knowledge that, you know, you can only use the sword of the word if you know it. you, you have to allow it to be written upon your heart yet to allow it to Seep into every crevice that the enemy might try to find and bring and bring lightness into the dark.

because our battle is not against flesh and blood, but our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the, Heavenly Realm, so when that person is annoying, you Because we all have that person, I'm sure.

When or even even maybe not that. But when you find yourself in the pit in that Dark Night of the Soul, remember, your battle is not against flesh and blood. Your battle is against the spiritual forces of the dark brown Center, trying to get into those this crevices that you might that the enemy might use that. That one thing that button that can be pushed, we have to allow God to fill us so much that even when those buttons are pushed, we remember to go back to him. We run as fast as we can to the father who created us and who gives us the power and authority to Cast Away, those spiritual enemy.

And then last week, when I, when we asked, where do you want to live? that was a hard-hitting question but in the immediately I thought I want to live every day for the rest of my life to live everyday in the presence of the Lord, doing whatever I can to make this and be obedient within the will of God bringing forth his kingdom because no matter what the day or the time is Jesus going to come back and We can't let one ounce of Hate in Your Heart. Allow us to not share with even our worst enemies will of a price because if not What are we doing? What did he die for a few weeks ago? Someone said about his caddy speaking at the bare minimum is believing And are we going to live our lives in bare minimum and miss out on the joy? That God can bring us when we are moving forward in the Kingdom?

So I can I ask you are you allowing him to do the Potter? Are you letting him make you knew Will you walk with him through the refining fire and allow him to think about you? It's not going to be easy and frankly is going to be the hardest thing you will ever do. What is the most important thing you can do? Especially later in life when it is time to pass the time, the more we allow God to refine us and make us to the more likely, it will be that we successfully passed the Baton to Our Success.

I'll leave you with this. 1st Peter 2:9 and 10 but you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his possession. Somebody say his possession.

So that you may proclaim the Praises of the one who called you out of the darkness and Into His Marvelous Light. Once you were not a people but now you are God's people. Once you have not received Mercy, but now you have

So, I'll leave you with a question. Will you let him make you? Will you let him make you a new wineskin?

so what I'm going to have to do and we're moving toward that, it start giving these guys really the whole service because I really when they when they sit down I'm on like I really want to hear more They're they're really really teaching veteran better stuff, aren't they? not just, I just stuff it. So you'll remember that I've only one watches TV anymore because walking across the street and has Levi's jeans, Levi's attacking Sergeant wrestling with himself or something like that. I kept seeing that when she was teaching about, we don't wrestle against flesh and blood And I kept thinking, you know, really that's what we spend our lives doing if we're not careful but it's the Flesh and Blood of our sales when she's come out depression, if you're not careful, you'll wrestle against your own flesh and blood, all your life, the depression, the things of ourselves. You know, they always think about rushing to get somebody else is attacking us or an enemy, but it's ourselves that we can't wrestle against our lives. Either that's a big waste of time. Let that go and let God deal with that the Potter. He's going to squash you in and start over. Let him do that. Let him read me to you and not you. You can't fix yourself. That's what she just told us, right? Haven't you wasted enough? Time trying to fix yourself? But what we've been doing, is working on, getting ourselves ready to know the voice of God to hear God to know, God better to know him and in order to know him, we've had to allow him to work on this vessel so that we can contain the presence of God. And so you've been having to entertain The Lord in your house and he's been remodeling your house, probably for years and years long time before we came together in the last couple years but I know why we've been together. That's what we've been teaching. That's what we've been talkin about is a remodeling of our house. And sometimes the tornado has come through and flattened your house, is it not in the hand of the Lord came right behind it because he wanted to rebuild something. It's been painful. I know that it's been painful. When that happened to me we talked about like Joe the tornado comes and it's confusing and you don't know what's going on until later when God rebuild your house. It's better than ever was a lot of pain involved in our family would steal our kids. Lot of tears, but God's been doing something in the middle of all that. He sees imperfections and he deals with them in his own way. Let's study this thing a lot more deeply than I have. Looked at more than a dozen of the ancient manuscripts there. And I'm stopping to do this for real. Not just not just for your future study but for reason

First floor was not into the major manuscript. Was added later. And then also the last four, five words of that verse Are words that are not found anywhere else in the New Testament. Which would indicate that a different kind of writer just stuff them in there. So, you got some, some real weird stuff going on for. The third reason. It is what I wanted to focus on here. It's a cult called at sleepiest and you may have read about them or studied them. As reason, I'm bringing them up is because it fits very much into this story. Did you got verse?

It doesn't mean you're you're weird route there because most of us grew up on the King James version.

Here's what it says, it's for an angel. Went down at a certain time. And you read this Sunday school reading. This and whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the war with these, he had there was a cult called leafy, leafy is basically a cult of a snake and what they did is they formed these Healing Centers is what they called him and it was based on this serpent That would crawl in and out of these healing pools and when the snake crawled into this healing pool and stirred up the water. Then whoever rolled over into this water first, whoever got into this water. First was supposed to get heal. Now, this didn't happen very often, so what they had was the dream Center's. Also they cut it at S&S flea peons. I think they call them, they would build these columns, you seen the pictures. I would like have these pools in the middle of columns around them Leafeon and upon their as sleep me on where people would go a night's sleep. And what they do is they hope that they would have a dream and in this dream the serpent would come to them in this dream and they would dream about I've been giving him a dream about how they would have to do something in order to get healed of whatever disease they have. So he's lame and he's sick and he's real people would come and they would lay around there and I don't mean just one night. They wouldn't just check in to the Holiday Inn like for a night or two. They would lay there hopefully for 4 weeks, 4 months, or whatever, until I get a dream and it's nice, maybe would appear and say Here's what you need to do to get you. All right, so this is what's going on. It's called the pool of Bethesda because that's the way the people but this was really the pools in the Sleepy on with that leafy is coal formed. These places that they called Healing Center before. You think this is just the thing that lasted for a few months, this Colt lasted for 900 years. This was not just a fly-by-night thing, this thing went on for a long time. So here comes this verse that. Somebody stuck in there to let you understand.

What was going on? He was completely demonic. And it was mainly based on dreams. Now, do you remember last week when we left all we were talkin about God restoring our dream and somewhere in the message. I said, it's time to dream again. Everything that God does. The devil tries to come and counterfeit. Does he not?

I'm passing the last days when the Holy Spirit Force out. Old man shell. Young, Michelle. Dreams and Visions are part of the pouring out of the Holy Spirit, or the holy spirit is going to do that. And the enemy's going to jump in here and for nine hundred years before the Holy Spirit. During the whole movement of demonic Spirit counterfeiting, what God's trying to do taking away from what God is trying to do. You see it? Now we can move on because this is going to relate to what we're trying to do today, by the way. oh, when when this man

What are the man in verse five headline? There'd been sick for 38 years. Let me go to verse 5 Karl when Jesus saw him and you he'd been ill for a long time asking, would you like to get well or 7? I can't. Sir the man said, Friday. No one to put me into the pool. When the water bubbles up, someone else always gets there ahead of me. Now, first, I think when he said somebody ahead of me that's kind of like

What was going on when the water was bubbling up here? Where my story about the little boy than Waycross. When his daddy on the mobile home, lot had the remote and the little boy would go in and broke his piggy bank open and took the money put in his pocket with the hole in it with came out to the money tree and drop the money around the money tree and big Jeff on the radio station said, hey little boy, come tell about that on the radio and he did that think he's going to help his daddy cell mobile homes. There was no money tree, the little boy, was just faking it so cuz he thought his legs or six or seven or whatever he was, he thought that was helping his dad. It was a money tree. Well, I think that's what was going on with when the man said, when the water bubbles up? Somebody gets there ahead of me. I think these Leafeon centres had these servants that would do things to make the water Bubble Up. I don't think there was anything about us, you know, some the water I think, either one of these snakes that they had around there that they let these snakes just crawl everywhere all over these people. I think one of these snakes maybe just fell in the water in the water, bubbled up and somebody jumped it was time to get healed or they let some fresh water in one of these. Anything spiritual about it. In the end out of this, they said,

I'm the same there but I don't think it was anything. First Mother's Boris didn't even need to be there. So before you go out of here and go can we can we go from there?

Now.

Dream. Someone do 50 jumping back, Carl, some 105, 18 + 19.

They bruised his feet with Fetters and placed his neck in an iron collar until the time came to fulfill his dream. The Lord tested Joseph character. Until the time came to fulfill what God has given Joseph. As a dream, God tested his character Let me say that another way. Until the time came for God to fulfill.

The Lord tested your character and that would Joseph. His feet were put both put in irons Remember he went to prison for it. Wait a minute. Now he went to prison because bodiford that woman lied about him and potiphar threw him in prison. That's why I went to prison, but this tells us why he really win. The Lord was testing his character. And you thought, but she you thought some of the hard things that you were going through weird because of your employer. The person that left you and divorced, you, somebody treated you wrong. Somebody ran into your car. Somebody, that's what you thought.

Well, I thought about my life. I wait a minute, maybe if we can see the scripture. What was going on behind the scenes? We'd understand. No, no, no. God tells us real story. On scenes, God's testing our character.

I don't expect a big, amen. But I see the head shaking. So as long as we get it, that's all that matters. God's testing us to prepare us so that what so that the vessel is ready for God to pour in what he wants to pour into the vessel. Why, why would he want to pour anything into our vessel? Oh, because somebody's going to be drinking from it.

Who us? No, not not, not, not this. We can't drink from her own vessel. Right now, we will be drinking. Got to make sure we got plenty to drink God.

But they're going to be others. I could go.

You seen that yet, you don't have to answer that out loud. Not trying to embarrass anybody if you have, that's what's going on. If you haven't yet, They're going to and the more character-building things that you and I are going through.

the bigger vessel he's making to contain more of what is pouring in and probably

the more he's going to require of you.

Now I'm no example of anybody, but our little story took everything. We had to move 70 miles, leave our job come over here with no job. It was not like Moses. It was not like Joseph, not even comparing it at all. It was nothing like any of the characters in The Bible but for me and Kathy to move, 70 miles without a job for us, that was good wrenchingly. Everything we had, we did not have money in the bank. We did not have a job and we move a mobile home over here, set it down. And started looking for a job and then we got a job within 3 days. Better pastoring, like I was over there instead of being the vice president of my father's mobile home business with for mobile home. Lots at the time instead of that, I'm mopping floors. That for me, at the time, I know that doesn't sound like anything. Compared, I didn't go to Afghanistan and risk my life, okay? Nothing like that. But for us at the time that took everything we had

When we left New Covenant, without an income. And I had two staff member said I'm going with you and I couldn't pay them and I didn't have any money and they said we're coming anyway. And one of my staff members, husband was getting ready to retired. He redid his retirement so his wife would have money.

And I had a family and we just filled in your house. I felt like this is what we're supposed to do. And we've got a raise now, for $100,000 to renovate the building in the meeting over building. We just been given which is a miracle. Nobody wrote about but now we got raised $4,000 and took everything that I had in me. And you understand that may sound like nothing to you, whatever your story is. Nobody else has to understand it. The point is whatever it takes to take everything out for you. It takes everything out of you if you went through, whatever, whatever, whatever. When I went through heart surgery, you may say that was no big deal. I went through cancer, I don't understand what you went through. That was a lot more than what I went through. But for me at the time that took everything I had you know, whatever your story is that took everything you had, it took everything, you had Everything is Everything

And God use that.

To make your vessel bigger. Now you can contain more mainly of him.

Does it when people drink out of your vessel? They're getting him and not you.

I went three years that I found out when people came to church and isn't going to mean anything to a lot of you. Embarrassingly. I found out that for years, when a lot of people came to church and drink, they got more of me than they did have Jesus.

I cannot ever let that happen again. so I try not to push those buttons anymore and make sure that when I tell what I tell, The goal is Jesus. Jesus did Jesus required. Who was the goal of Jesus?

Until the time came to fulfill his dreams. God may give you a word and fulfill it 48 hours later but he doesn't do that with a dream. Is a difference? A dream is not going to be fulfilled. 48 hours later. I don't I don't mean to dream this kind of drink a dream like that bite. I mean you understand a dream in Your Heart, A Dream. That kind of dream dream dream like that is not going to be fulfilled in 48 hours that kind of dream is going to be a long time because he's got to work on your way here.

I told him one time we were trying to,

Make sure we were ministering to the races together. We were trying to build a church. A various races. We were not trying to be woke. We're not trying to make a quota system. We're trying to build a church that look like what God wanted. And I knew he was instrumental in the beginning. He was African-American. I move to Pennsylvania. He was New York and I called him. I said if you want Do something in later you got. Can't believe I did that. We got called you, I called him. And I said, if you move your family back down here, I'll pay to move. I'll pay to move your family back down here.

I can't believe I did that. I didn't have a job.

And you know what? He moved his whole family down here to be part of the church.

If God, God is doing something, it requires that kind of sacrifice when God speaks to people. Not. Not because somebody asked you to hold you to. If it if God says to do it, it's not we're not playing games.

Last that last Church, by the way, it seems like it's happens. Everywhere we go. I will think we have a there was no air conditioning and it was the middle of July when we started We have an anointing for no air conditioning.

Oh my goodness.

I need to hurry on here.

Jesus told him in verse 8, stand up, pick up your mat and walk instantly. The man was, he'll he rolled up his sleeping mat him again. Walking with this miracle happened on the Sabbath, so usually they said to the man who is scared, you can't work on the Sabbath. The law doesn't allow you to carry Harry that sleeping. That this is some of the most absurd stuff, but he replied the man who healed me told, told me pick up your mat and walk Who said such a thing is that they demanded the man didn't know for Jesus had disappeared into the crowd, but afterward, Jesus found him in the temple and told him now, you are well, so stop sinning or something. Even worse, may happen to you. Then the man went and told his Jewish leaders, that it was Jesus, who is yielding didn't do the whole lot. He didn't, he didn't. He stop sending notice, he didn't do that to people.

And so let me read this real quick here, from Matthew 12 verses 43 at the NIV, a spirit comes out of a person that goes through arid places, seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says, I will return to the house. I left when it arrives at sounds, fine to the house unoccupied swept clean and put in order and it goes and takes with its seven other Spirits more wicked than itself and they go in and lives. There in the final condition of that person is worse than the first. I believe that the reason Jesus sent to this man, stop sinning or something. Worse is coming up on you. I believe this is what was going on here because he didn't say, stop sending everybody that he delivered, there was something going on with this, man. He knew if this guy went out and send again, he, he was obviously deliver to something as he was. What was the reason that this man was ill and Lane had to do with demonic oppression? Or we would send it to him this one. There are some conditions that people are ill because of demonic oppression. Not everybody obviously but some and this particular, man, I believed had demonic oppression that he was delivered up when he was And in that case, the Bible says that when you're delivered, that this particular spirit will go out. And if he can't find rest, he comes back with 7, but he's not the kind of, but he's like minions, like buddy, buddy. But these buddies are not friendly buddies and funny. But he's in little yellow buddies, these bodies or not good buddy. And seven times worse.

So when you get delivered, you need to make sure you feel yourself with the word of God with the Holy Spirit to be full. And over-running was God.

If you don't, you end up much much worse. The scripture said here, Now, I don't want to make it this a math equation, but if you get seven times worse and then get delivered again.

You're either going to be then 14 times worse, when they come back or if it works the way I think it does. Maybe.

Yeah, or or worse than that, you know? I mean is I don't know how the math works in the monogram but it gets worse every time. So that's how you quickly end up with a guy. With a legion of demons roaming around the cemeteries and running up and down when Jesus met him.

Because he's demons learned a lesson when they found a place to live and then they come back, they don't want to get kicked out again. So that's why they keep bringing her friend. I want to make sure you can't take them out and it takes someone that is extremely full of the spirit of God with power to continually deliver somebody, and I've met people like that. And I pray to her people like that, and sometimes I couldn't help them at all.

So if you get delivered, make sure you or refilled with the spirit of God and stay that way men. Finishing up. So the Jewish leaders began harassing Jesus for breaking, the Sabbath rules, but Jesus replied, my father is always working and so am I? So, the Jewish leaders tried all the harder to find a way to kill him. Or not only broke the Sabbath, he called got his father there about making himself equal with God.

Athena had a friend. Haven't seen him in years, but he used to Pastor, maybe still does the largest church in Australia. And he came and spoke for us and you're coming at one time. I got a serious meeting. and he told us about, Church is different in Australia and he's a different kind of Pastor. He's letter. Lady to the Lord, that used to be a lady of the evening. and over there, they don't have some of the Hang-Ups we do and in the church and he had Every legislator you to the Lord, not too long after that, he had personally invited her to help with communion over here. We would wait three years, have them go through a course, and invited her to help serve the communion on a Sunday. And so is she had not been through a course yet on how to Do the things that you're supposed to do to be religious. And so she came in that Sunday and it came up front tube. I don't know what hold the tray or whatever it was that they did over there and she was very grateful to have come to the Lord and she was very excited to have been asked To have such an honor. And having not been removed from that part of life, very long. She had not had and not been told yet. I guess she came in wearing the best this year.

And the best that she had was not necessarily. the best that normally a woman would wear to church, it was not quite as long as what a late lady should wear to be dress modestly. And the heels that she wore were maybe a little higher than they would normally be for a lady that dress modestly. And maybe the makeup was put on a little thicker than a woman normally would dress modestly. I don't know the whole thing. I'm just said, you know, in general, you get the picture and so she came up and he let her go after the service, some of the people, some of the, ladies of the church came but some of the, some of the ladies
